I have stayed in Eco lanta for 3 wonderful nights that was worth every penny spent , no mosquitos inside the rooms , amazingly fast wifi which u cant find in thailand everywhere ! and you get to have a fascinating beach view from your bed sight with a glory morning of a perfect delicous breakfast/ Restaurant ( Pancakes started to be my every morning cravings) . // FYI you can actually rent scooters/ motorcycles from the hotel itself!!

A peaceful place / far from them noisy roads and the life i been living in / refreshing yet exciting

Cant wait to goo back there..

This place is lovely. From reading other reviews people suggest maybe it's a little expensive in comparison to similar places to stay on long beach and that the staff weren't that friendly. The staff were lovely to us. When it rained they lent us an umbrella, they served my boyfriend extra breakfast without anyone asking and were happy to organise our transfers to Koh tao for the end of our stay. Having walked the length of Long Beach, yes, there are many other hotels and bamboo hut places to stay that I'm sure are nice or cheaper, but we were still very impressed with Eco Lanta. The area of beach in front of this resort is kept very clean even after an evening rain shower brings in leaves or driftwood, it's all swept away to once again leave a beautiful white powdered beach scene. Other areas of the beach are not kept this tidy! Sea is so warm! The food is pricey here but there's SO many lovely food places to explore nearby you're spoilt for choice! We recommend Mays Kitchen (cheap, friendly and great food, best mango sticky rice I've had), Lyms which is almost next door to Eco Lanta and is usually busy, pretty fairy light set up and great shrimp tempura, mid range prices (200 baht a main course) and for a Thai fine dining experience Red Snapper is incredible. It was 100 baht per person transfer from ferry port on arrival. Rooms are basic but very nicely done up and clean with fridge and porch with hammock/chairs. Happy hour is 1-7pm and breakfast included is delicious. I would return! Also check out the animal welfare centre!

This was the highlight of our entire two week trip to Thailand. The little bamboo huts are absolutely perfect and something you won't find anywhere else. The food and cocktails are also other things to die for! Pad Thai is unbelievable and the pancakes for breakfast is the perfect thing to start your day! Staff are very friendly and helpful plus there are two gorgeous husky dogs that live there too! The location is so peaceful and after walking along the entire beach, it's easy to say that Eco Lanta Resort have the best spot on the beach. Not near any loud or distracting other hotels. It's the perfect place to log off from the world and relax. Easy to say that I didn't want to leave but can't wait to come back, thankyou!

Many times I have visited in Thailand but this resort is one star not 3. Only good thing is that it is on beach. Room not good, take time to repair also smal thing. Try to take money all time. There are more hotel same price so dont go this place.

This truly is a special place. Booking online, we didn't know what to expect but were so incredibly delighted with what we found. This truly is a gem. From the epic beachside location to each uniquely designed and homely bamboo hut, it's easy to tell that a lot of thought and consideration went into this ecological and environmentally friendly resort.

My girlfriend and I were travelling with the mother-in-law, and all three of us agreed, that it was the most magical and welcoming hotel we have ever booked. Do yourself a favour, and book in for a few nights (we extended from one night to five!).

Room tip: Ask for a hut close to the beach.
