We stayed there 4 nights earlier this year. A hawker on the boat recruited us to stay there. Another couple who arrived when we did only stayed one night. It didn't quite live up to the flashy brochures. The accommodations were pretty typical of other places we stayed in Thailand. Nothing flashy but very basic. It was a quiet area of Koh Lanta, the beach was not conducive to beach walking, It was very soft and difficult to walk in. Unlike others I found the food to be decent. We discovered a nearby restaurant that was run by a charming young couple. We ate dinner there every night. The hotel bar was was hopping and we met some cool people.
The hotel next door had very affordable scooter rentals so we beach hopped during our trip.
The front desk and restaurant staff were not all that pleasant to deal with. They seemed put out with the tourists.
Not sure if I would stay there again because of the beach.More
