Lucky us, we had a full 14 days on Lanta and spent a lot of time with Narima Diving.
I´ve seen a lot of divecenters, but Narima Diving was one of the best organized I´ve ever seen.
Friendly, helpful and very professional staff, a lot of fun, good dives, good service.

Thank you Narima Diving!!

Narima Diving is part of Scubafish, based at a resort a few miles down the road - they both deserve their top ratings on TripAdvisor.

I spent four days taking the PADI Open Water course, we were a small group of 4 expertly tutored by Kim who was calm, patient... but firm when she needed to be. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and the four open water dives were simply amazing. Narima Diving/Scubafish are very professional, well organised and also eco-friendly.

My wife and kids (ages 6 & 7) joined the dive boat for a day on a snorkelling trip, they had a great time and I would really recommend this (you don't have to be associated with a diver to snorkel). The staff of the dive boat were great with the kids, taking them off to see various fish and sea creatures on the coral reef and getting them interested in the underwater world. It was the real highlight of our time on Ko Lanta.

Narima Dive Centre is located in the Narima Resort its parts of Scubafish and is an eco friendly dive centre which means nothing goes overboard including food to attract fish etc.
Both dive centres are very professionally run with staff that take an interest in you, to them diving is a passion not a way to pay for there stay in Thailand.
They have their own well-equipped modern boats and offer free transfer to and from where you are staying.
On board there are free drinks and fruit all day with a hot meal between dives
A full dive brief is given including all safety aspects and what you can expect to see during the dive.
There’s a photographer (Liquid Lense) on the dives so this gives you the opportunity to purchase photos of your dive but with no pressure to buy.
All in all if you choose to dive with these people (and you should) you will have a great dive experience, they might not be the cheapest on Koh Lanta BUT they are the BEST.

My fiancée’s fear of breathing underwater was overcome last year when she donned snorkelling gear in Phuket and put her head under water whilst kneeling on a beach. As you might imagine it was a big step from this to full blown scuba diving, so we took advantage of Narima Diving’s free taster session in the pool at the Narima Resort. We were kitted out with all the equipment & the instructor explained – with absolute patience – the basic theory & practice to get us started. It was a thrill when we both managed a few lengths of the pool, breathing underwater, with weights & cylinder strapped to us!

Our next step should have been a day trip out on their boat to try out diving in the sea but as our holiday was drawing to a close, we opted to delay that step until we return to Ko Lanta for our honeymoon in June. Instead we booked a trip the following day on their dive boat as snorkelers. The trip was more expensive than other island trips with snorkelling thrown in that we had been on out of Saladan but was well worth the extra money!

Every aspect of the day was delivered in a calm & professional manner by all the staff. We were collected from our resort & taken to Ba Kan Tiang Beach where we jumped on a longtail to be transferred to the diving boat moored in the bay. The upper deck was partly covered by an awning – providing much needed shade and had more than enough comfortable seating. The crew all had time to talk & made you feel very welcome. When we reached the first dive site the divers disappeared beneath the surface leaving us to quietly snorkel. The instructors told us where the most interesting spots were - & we were not disappointed – seeing all sorts of impressive sea life! The dive school is eco-friendly – so they don’t throw food into the water to attract marine life as other snorkelling trips do– this means that that you see creatures in their natural habitat.

A hot meal was provided at lunchtime & there was a limitless supply of cold drinks & fresh fruit available throughout the day. Lunch was followed by a second dive / snorkel. The return journey to Ba Kan Tiang Beach had to be redirected to Old Town as the tide was unexpectedly strong. The situation was dealt with in a professional manner by Narima Diving – vehicles were waiting for us at Old Town so that we could complete our journey.

A truly excellent day!

Loved this dive centre. It was our first time diving after getting our qualification, and they took such good care of us. Excellent staff, great boat, good food, overall fantastic service. Everything we could have hoped for to create amazing first-time dive memories.
