Eurolanta White Rock Resort
Ranked #54 of 84 Hotels in Ko Lanta

They were overbooked but was able to find an alternative for me. However they did let me use one of the bungalows & it was comfortable. Bathroom looked clean & working order. The bungalows were really nicely spaced out & designed. The restaurant was gorgeous with a beautiful garden. The breakfast was made to order so you had a choice between a few selection for part of your stay. So food came hot. I prefer this then buffet style.
The staff were great esp Dao & Nick. They made a difficult situation & helped me get to my new place & other stuff to accommodate me. I would have gladly stayed at the resort.
However, it's hard to find as it's called White Rock & there's no signage showing Eurolanta. So my driver food it difficult to find.
The pool was find but the lounge chairs were sad shape. But Klong Nin is easy to get to. So go to the beach.

This is a beautiful and relaxed place - traditional bungalows, reasonable facilities (though I don't know why they have a TV taking up space, which only shows Thai channels!), helpful staff. The rates over the Christmas week seemed high (but I guess are high everywhere during this peak season) - and bungalows are double, and not sound-proof, so be prepared for that.

Room Tip: ask for a non-smoking neighbour if you don't smoke yourself.

We have been at this resort for 4 nights now and will stay another 2 nights with pleasure. The bungalows are simple but spacious and comfortably appointed Thai style suites. Although across the road from the beach, the water is visible from our porch and access is quick and easy. Klong Nin Beach is simply gorgeous - wide, calm, clean and beautiful, ideal for swimming and sunbathing. The resort also features a gorgeous pool, the largest and deepest we have enjoyed in our travels. The 3 times we have used it, we had it to ourselves. With jungle to one side and behind, the resort is pretty quiet (only a little street noise, unavoidable on Lanta). Nick, Tip and the entire staff are friendly, warm and ready to help with anything. We booked a tour and cooking class with the travel desk, both of which we enjoyed immensely. We also rented a motorcycle from the hotel directly, which offers the best way to experience the island on your own time and is highly recommended. Breakfast was included daily and made fresh to order. There is a nice restaurant and bar on site, with all of Klong Nin's amenities nearby. If you're looking for a relaxed and quiet place to spend a wonderful week enjoying all the beauty of this magical island, this is a good place to lay your head. The location mid-island puts it all in close proximity.

Room Tip: The rooms at the rear part of the resort offer the least street noise.

This resort brought us a pleasant surprise upon arrival. When we checked the room, the announced price was 2300/night, upon arrival it was 1800 w/ breakfast and 1500 w/o :) Rooms clean, but dont leave any food anywhere, the ants will come and get it. Sometimes a gecko will come (for the ants presumably). Also, the internet is not very reliable, especially in the evenings. The stuff doesn't speak english very well, but no less than anywhere else in Thailand I'd say. There is rather big swimming pool, if you have enough of the beaches. The best of all, however, is the restaurant! We haven't eaten so well anywhere else in southern Tahiland.
All in all, I'd recommend this resort, for its price it offers a decent quality of service.

We travel a lot, and I'm not sure who is writing these rapturous reviews, but they certainly aren't anywhere close to the facts. This place is nothing more than a 2*. Arrived to sheets with fecal deposits of some creature. Bathroom was in no way 'clean'. Table on the deck has exposed nails sticking out of the corner. Chairs are wobbly and show strain at the joints. Table lamp was useless because it was positioned where there weren't any plugs. Door uses a small padlock as the means of security. Toilet says not to flush toilet paper into it as it will then clog (?) The pictures of this place are in no way anything like the reality. Nearby there's lots of great places on the beach - which this isn't. Avoid unless you're desperate.

We spent 4 days here - 2 adults and 2 grown up children. As there were 4 of us we arranged a private transfer from the airport - unfortunately owing to a mix up one of our bags got left on the forecourt outside of the airport - only to be realised 3 hours later when we arrived at the resort!! With the airport information closed we couldn't get any information and I must admit was sure that the bag would have been stolen. Nick was wonderful and having contacted the airport the next day drove us all the way back again a and we were amazed to find everything intact! The food was excellent and all of Nicks recommendations proved to be good as well - live football and test cricket for sports enthusiasts - all in all a great place to relax for a few days.

This was a great location with easy access to a great beach! Our room was comfortable, nice bed and lots of space. Breakfasts were very good and we had the buffet for supper one night and it was great for the price! We enjoyed the pool a lot only wished it had a little more shade for those very hot days! Huge thank you to Nik one of he managers who was awesome in making us feel welcome and was very helpful. Thank you
