“where pad thai addiction starts...”
Reviewed April 18, 2013 via mobile

A gem of a place! Best pad thai I've had in a long long time.it's everything pad thai is supposed to be. This is the pad thai people get addicted to. I went back every single day after discovering rock n roll pad thai. On my last day, he even made my pad thai a take away order!
it's a cute little place by the side of the road in kantiang bay, one if the nicest bays on the island btw, with a friendly owner who also plays in a rock band, hence the name.
None of the other high end restaurants in the bay even begin to compare to this place!

“Try the fried rice! !!!”
Reviewed April 14, 2013 via mobile

This restaurant is simplicity personified. 3 dishes. Cooked directly in front of you in the has ring in a week. Ironically the smoothie menu is about 10 tones larger than the food menu

3 dishes. Pad Thai. Pad ew (fatter thicker ribbon noodles) and fried rice. Choices:

1. Chicken, prawn or veg
2. Spicy or not.

Each dish is epithet 60bht or 70bht ams smoothies 59bht. Everything is made fresh.

Not a lot more to say other than the fact the owner and chef is welcoming and friendly, the place hygienic and clean and the food delicious.

One thing really impressed me whilst eating here. One lunchtime another diner mentioned he was allergic to peanuts (a staple in pad Thai). The chef actually prepared his dish on a completely different burner in a fresh wok.

Smoothies - think of a fruit combo and order.

This is a great value clean place for an excellent lunch

“The BEST khau pad (fried rice) I've ever had.”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

Phad Thai Rock'n'roll truly serves the best pad thai and fried rice in Thailand. The owners are absolutely lovely and create a very welcoming atmosphere. I've lived in Lanta for 5 months now and not a week goes without me having to get my khau pad fix. The smoothies are also delicious. Apple on my mind, mango madness and kiwi express yummmmmmmmyyyyyyy:)

“Your Pad Thai Search will be over!”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

If you're on the hunt for some delicious pad thai in thailand, look no more. This pad thai will hit the spot and your pad thai search will be over. Cute little restaurant on the main road towards Kantiang Bay (right near the pathway to get to Kantiang Bay). My four friends and I loved it! And we've had tons of thai food in SF and LA. Owners are very friendly. They make it right in front of you in a wok with fresh ingredients - made to order. Also get the smoothies (soooo good!). We tried the one with passion fruit in it and some other fruits and it was so delicious we ordered one more for the road. i also liked the lemon soda as it was so refreshing. The decor is cute too. You won't be disappointed. Oh and to top it off - you really can't beat the prices! Definitely one of my fave spots so far in Thailand.

“Highly recommended, and dealt with food allergies too!”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Had read the reviews and really wanted to try this place. Doesn't look much from the outside, but busy, and all the tables were taken when we arrived, but they soon shifted people around to accommodate us, 2 adults and 2 kids. The 'chef' came to ask us what we wanted to eat...of course pad thai. My daughter is allergic to egg and seafood and we explained this and he made her an extra special portion to meet her needs, and also to her taste with not too much spice and extra lime. She said it was delicious! Our shrimp and chicken pad thai was so yummy too. The smoothies are excellent, with a wide selection, although be patient as they take a few minutes to whizz them up. Prices are really great value and the place has a really friendly vibe.
