We stayed here 5 nights.-) the rooms are great and clean, the staff is very friendly. Highly recommendable.....
The couple who own the place are very friendly. You can feel the care about the place. The pool is great we had a beach front bungalow next to the bar which didn't disturb us.

A recently opened resort that consists of 17 smart rooms, 4 of which are directly on the beach, with the remainder situated around the very long narrow pool. Most rooms have a view of the sea. There are plenty of sun loungers that can be used at the pool or on the beach. Beach towels are provided.
The breakfast is standard for Thailand, pre- cooked eggs in a heated platter, fruits, cereals and breads. There was also a prepared noodle option.
The rooms are spotless with nice bathrooms. Each room has a new flat screened TV. The downside is that there are only 3 English channels and these are bizarrely American Gospel Channels.
The resort has a nice little bar on the beach and you can get your happy hour cocktails between 1600 - 1900hrs. The bar restaurant has a selection of Thai and Indian dishes.
The beach is long and beautiful, the locality has a good selection of restaurants. The restaurants tend to dum down the spices in the food for the Western palette, so if like me, you like your food traditional and spicy, let them know when you place your order.
The majority of locals are Muslim and there are the regular calls to prayer that are piped through loudspeakers at various points in the village, at all hours of the day. On one occasion this was at 0530!!!! Which is fine if you can roll over and go back to sleep. This is really the only break in the otherwise peaceful retreat.
In summary a very nice place that I will happily return to.

We stayed there for ten days and had a beautiful room with aircon, TV, nice bathroom, big comfortable bed, fridge and a little terrace. the room was cleaned every day. We also got fresh towels, soap, shampoo and drinking water every day. The resort is located directly at the beach, you can literally sit in the sand (or on the terrace of course) having breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks - the view is absolutely beautiful! The breakfast is not too good, but OK. Real coffee instead of instant would be great. The egg variations were great though, on three days only we had a second - more healthy - bread choice than plain white toast. The menu contains a lot of western and Thai food. We only tried the Thai which was good. The waiters speak little English and seem to be quite new to this job, but they are absolutely friendly and eager. The manager couple was also super friendly and helpful. The bar - also on the beach - is open nearly all day, though we liked the cocktails better at some other places. The beach is calm and beautiful, white sand, little rocks, flat and calm water, so you can enjoy swimming. They also have free beach towels and sunshades, though they are not in the best condition and sometimes it can be quite windy. The pool is also nice and clean and has the perfect temperature. On the beach to the left and right, there are several restaurants and bars if you need a little variation. On the street north, only a few minutes walk, there's a little cafe called Monkey Biziness, which offers the world's best shakes and smoothies! There are also some little shops that offer drinks and where you can rent a scooter to get around, take a trip to Ban Saladan, Lanta old town or the national park in the south. We think the hotel is a little expensive, but can't really compare to other ones. What is very expensive is the airport transfer. You can get that MUCH cheaper, for example in an office in Ban Saladan, but that's also less convenient than their aircon-van. One thing that might disturb you is the muezzin call several times a day. The microphone is located in front of the hotel and can be quite loud depending on the room you have.

This is a new place, only opened in December 2012. There are 17 smart rooms, 6 directly on the beach with the remainder around a long narrow pool. Most rooms have at least a partial sea view. There are sun-beds for use around the pool or on the beach and beach towels are provided. The staff are cheerful and friendly.
The rooms are spotless, with nice bathrooms, there are tea and coffee making making facilities. Each room has a nice new flat screen TV, though there are only 3 English channels and bizarrely they are all American broadcast gospel channels!.
The breakfast is pretty standard with cereals, fresh fruit , yogurt, breads and per-cooked eggs, tea and coffee, there also a noodle plate.
The complex has a small bar and restaurant that offers thai and Indian options. Between 1600 and 1900hrs there is a cocktails happy hour?
Klong Nin Beach is a really good spot with plenty of choice of restaurants and bars, though remaining peaceful and rustic.
The local restaurants' default position is to dum down on the spices to suit the Western palette, so, if like me, you enjoy your Thai food spicy, then tell them when you order.
The area is predominantly Muslim and there are regular calls to prayers broadcast through loud-speakers, sometimes as early as 5.30!! I'm sure that one of the loud-speakers was directly outside our room! Which is fine if you can roll over and go back to sleep.
Overall, a lovely peaceful spot that I find hard to leave, I would certainly return.

Room Tip: B 4-6 är bättre än B1-3. B står antagligen för "Beach".
