We have visited both Shanti Shanti locations in the last day, Klong Nin for dinner and Old Town for lunch. Both meals were fantastic, quality, authentic and so delicious. It is obvious how much passion has gone into these restaurants from the taste and presentation of the food, and smile you receive on entering and the way they are decorated with such a unique style. We especially loved the ambience at Klong Nin with all the family photos around it feels like you are visiting friends rather than dining in a restaurant! On both occasions special meals were prepared at the drop of a hat for our little one which is so generous and means a great deal to us. We got the feeling that all the guests are made to feel so valued which is part of the magic. Don't miss these restaurants - they will provide you with a beautiful meal and great memories to boot. And don't fill yourself up on dinner - leave room for the best icecream you'll ever taste!

Went here for a snack one morning while walking around. Stopped in for a coffee and ordered a crepe with nutella. Both were delicious. Owner is very friendly and speaks fluent french and english. Lots of french speakers here. Came back two nights later for their homemade ice cream which was absolutely amazing. Came back for our last dinner with another couple we met at our hotel. Had pastas, steak, beef stew with red wine and ice cream for desert. Everything was delicious and owner was very friendly and engaging. Gave us a few free shots of after dinner liquors as well. Would highly recommend stopping in for any time of day. Would say you should not leave Ko Lanta without at least getting some ice cream here.

We found Shanti Shanti in Koh Lanta by searching Trip Advisor. It also turned out to be directly across the street from our hotel. We were so blessed!

Each morning we had the best breakfast in all of Thailand! The 15 + fruit parfait (muesli) is seriously incredible. The crepes are delicious as well. Ben puts his heart into all the coffees on the menu. Every one is delectable. So so good.

We will miss Koh Lanta for lots of reasons- one reason being Shanti Shanti.

....So good!

Fa Fa has combined his passion for texture, color, and flavor with the essence of his Italian heritage, his travels through India, and ice cream training in his homeland to create Shanti Shanti. This combination makes the ice cream the cherry on top of an amazingly unique experience. Shanti Shanti's eclectic decor of artwork, lazy hammocks, sea shell garlands, and colorful triangle pillows will be a feast for your eyes, while the best coffee on the Island, mouth-watering crepes, and richly creamy ice cream will fill your tummy with delight. Your remaining senses will be stimulated by the hospitality from Frenchman, Fa Fa, and his counter-part, Thai-native, Chen, as they seamlessly engage you in conversation; while the aromas from the kitchen remind you that they are artists, ready to put their passion on your plate.

You could easily walk past this road side restaurant and dismiss in in search of dining on the beach but DON'T. In the morning this is the best place to come for coffee lovers and their muesli is a must! During the day pop in for great refreshing smoothies. In the evening a limited but fabulous French and Thai menu changes almost daily. Don't for get to try the homemade ice creams. Benjamin and his wife do an amazing job and their service is second to none
