We were on our way somewhere else, but noticed how busy it was, so decided to give it a shot. They didn't get our order quite right, yet the food was decent. The papaya salad was fresh, though we expected it to be more spicy. The spring rolls and prawn tempura were both a plus. There was a bit too much soy sauce in the black soy stir fried noodles, though we did like it. It's more a 3.5 place than a 4, but let's be generous.

When you arrive in the evening the whole place is blinking up with nice lightning from shelve lamps, first you have to take your shoes of so the entrance is filled with flipflops.

There are lots of waiters who are very friendly and help you to find a table right away, the orders are also taking in and served quickly.

The real show comes from the cook who is wokking his food in the restaurant itself, producing lots of flames which is nice to watch.

In the middle of the restaurant are big toy animals placed so the kids can also enjoy themselves.

The food was good, overall a very nice place to eat!

We were quite disappointed by this restaurant, the food was average, quite blend. Meals have like a Chinese flavour / look. I felt like being in a chinese restaurant in Europe.
This is more a tourist place, not really authentic with prices above the average of what you can pay in Thailand.
Staff are OK but quite slow.

Great restaurant in Koh Lanta Yai (second island) serving excellent Thai food close to the Klong Nin beach. We did not try their International dishes because we just liked so much their Thai food. We tried their green curry with chicken and fish and they both were very tasty. If you like fish don't hesitate to order the steamed snapper with garlic and lime sauce- it's to die for! The only food we didn't like much was their Mango with sticky rice (our favorite dessert of theThai cuisine). The ambience is casual and the decor is rustic and the service is very attentive and friendly.

First off... I have no idea how this place has got such great reviews on tripadvisor?!

We'd been travelling around Thailand for nearly 3 weeks and had eaten many great meals and the odd dodgy one. It has to be said the shrimp tempura was the worst we've ever tasted, the shrimp wasn't rolled in breadcrumbs then deep fried like it should be... instead the shrimp was smothered in batter then deep fried which resulted in a soggy, greasy mess and to top it off the shrimp was tiny (I mean really tiny) and overcooked.

And for the yellow curry which again, we'd had all over thailand... this was the worst by a country mile (Thai food tends to use great spices and has a bit of a kick to it), it was the blandest, most flavourless thing we've had! The rice was undercooked and the chicken was overcooked, I'm pretty sure I've had spicier sticks of celery than that curry?! The drinks were really expensive as well, we didn't have a beer for that exact reason (130baht for a Chang) so ended up getting a water between us, 50baht for a big bottle when the local store nearby sells the same brand of water for 13baht!

The service wasn't great either, they were friendly enough but seemed to be very forgetful... asked 3 times and waited 15 minutes for the bill. We were still hungry after dinner so we went to a store to buy some more food (got some caramelised peanuts.. now they were good, and I only paid 16baht).

To sum up don't waste your time or money... or energy trying to chew on their overcooked tasteless food. There are plenty of better restaurants 5 minutes further down the road and just because its busy doesn't always mean it's good.
