“Impressed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

The Red Snapper was a little further away from where we were staying, but after a recommendation we decided to give it a try. The menu is not your standard Thai, but contained some excellent dishes. The cost was slightly more than other restaurants but well worth the price for quality and presentation. The staff were attentive and had excellent service skills. We would definitely go back to the Red Snapper again.

Great little place in a lovely setting. Great choice of food and drinks. . The hosts and staff are all lovely and welcoming and definetly make this a must visit on Lanta. A little more expensive than other restaurants in the area..

“Good food, a break from the norm”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2013

Better than most in the area, and different selection than you typically find. A little pricey, but good quality. They could use a couple of fans for the hot evenings. Great garlic prawns.

“we were expecting more”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013

After reading the reviews, we expected more from this restaurant.

Upon arrival they "check" to see if they have a table available, but really this appeared to be that the waiting staff had to get the owners permission to allow you into the restaurant.

The tapas food was average and the service was inconsistent, but it made a change from thai food.

“excellent gourmet food but restaurant a little hot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2013

We don't normally do European food in Thailand as we love Thai but we were with some friends and they suggested it. The food was fantastic and although more expensive than the normal Thai places, at £6 for a stunning pork or duck dish that we would pay £20 for in the UK it was great value for money. The food was excellent, the only niggle was the mojitos were disappointing and it was a bit warm unless you sat under a fan, other than that a great place.
