“Klong Nin Beach”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

The place is calm and quiet, barely anyone on the beach this time of year! The ocean was so warm.
We had sun for a few days and then some crazy rain at night.

“Beware of the rocks...but a gorgeous beach”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

A previous reviewer wrongly declared that there are no rocks in the water at Klong Nin Beach. In fact there are plenty of rocks - especially by the southern third of the beach. Halfway along the bay there certainly is an area that is rock-free and that can be very important when energetic Andaman waves are crashing on the shoreline. Undoubtedly, the rocks will have caused many injuries over the years. Swimming at high tide may be advisable.

I stayed at the Lanta Miami Resort and enjoyed shady afternoons and sunset evenings at the attached P'Dang Bar which is right on the beach. Cocktails were a hundred baht each and so were large bottles of "Leo" beer.

Sunsets viewed from Klong Nin can be stupendous with the distant outline of Koh Phi Phi rising above the horizon. A good place to dine just east of the main coast road is "Cook-Kai" which is an independent, family run eatery offering an international menu but with a happy bias towards Thai cuisine. Very nice.

“Perfect Beach”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

Lovely beach. A lot of beaches visited seem to be littered with rubbish and bars. This beach remains preserved. There are some bars of course! However they are generally quiet relaxing places selling some very good food.

“Beautiful quiet beach”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

Fantastic quiet beach. No parties or loud music, and beach itself is great, and you get amazing sunsets as well.

“battling for top beach on Koh Lanta”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

We loved this beach and are still arguing if it was this was our favourite or if the next beach up - Nui was. This beach has the benefit of being long and white and soft and very easy to get to. Also there are a few good cafes near by so if you want to take a break you can. We stayed at Long Beach which was a convienent location but Klong Nin is by far a nicer beach with less sea lice and jellies - wonderful for swimming at high or low tide.
