I visited Dreamy Spa for a Brazillian wax and was not disappointed. It was quite a bit pricier, but money well spent. The receptionist was so lovely and made us feel welcome right away. My wax specialist was extremely professional and meticulous. While I was getting waxed, my boyfriend was able to enjoy a 30 minute neck and shoulders massage. We both left feeling silky smooth. If you're looking for a reliable place to get waxed in Koh Lanta, this is your place.
P.s. you can book online too, which is a really great feature.
Visited Dreamy Spa today and had their Relaxation Package which included the aromatherapy and reflexology massages. Two hours of pure relaxation indeed! I have traveled around the world and experienced a lot of massages but their massage here is probably the best! Felt like the therapist hands were dancing as she was fluid, gentle and really knew how to apply the right pressure! Definitely will come back! And i’m super happy with the result from the Pedicure with them after too. :)
Visited frequently on our last visit for massages and facials almost every other day
(Royal Thai massage /Thai massage/Deluxe and Collagen Facial)
They do a great job
Place is clean and organized
Even during slow /green season appointments are good to have so you get the time in you need
Some language barrier but bridgeable
Will definitely come back when we’re back in KL
The price is a little higher than in other similar places but we were just close by so we tried it. We both loved their Thai massage. It was great from the very beginning to the end. Eventually I ordered a face massage it was nice but regular massage is better.
I read that Dreamy Spa was a decent (and most importantly, clean) place to get a Brazilian. I’ve been traveling for over a month now and needed to get waxed (legs and Brazilian) and was pretty nervous about getting it done in Thailand. The idea of getting an unhygienic wax is nightmarish. So, thank the powers that be that there was Dreamy Spa open in Ko Lanta. I came here during low season, and didn’t see another soul there. Needless to say I didn’t need a reservation or to call ahead. I was a walk-in for my service.
They led me upstairs and had me lay down on a table. Things looked pretty clean (by Thai standards, anyways). They put a cool towel over my eyes and turned on the a/c (if you are familiar with waxing, you know that you can get kinda sweaty, so it’s nice to have an air conditioner blowing directly on you!). Two young women worked on me. They did both my legs at the same time. They use wax and fabric strips. For the Brazilian, they completed it together; one of them stretched the skin and the other ripped off the wax/strip. This helped mitigate the pain. I had two waxes done in probably about an hour’s worth of time. They were very kind and asked me several times if the pain was tolerable and if I needed a break.
It’a been a little over a day and although I foolishly sunburned my legs, the skin looks clear. I paid 795 TB for the Brazilian, and I believe 690 TB or so for the half leg wax. It may strike you as pricey, but a) it’s still cheaper than a wax in the U.S., and b) for a clean and hygienic wax from experienced staff, I would’ve paid a lot more!
Good luck to my other waxing ladies. And watch out for that sun after the wax is done!
I’ve been visiting Dreamy every few weeks during my stay on the island. On every occasion they have managed to book me in there and then no matter which treatment I’d chosen. I’ve had body scrub, body massages, Indian head massage, shellac nails, pedicure and manicure, facials, waxing, eyelash tinting over the course of a few months. The service remains consistent and the staff professional and friendly. They use raised massage tables with the hole so you’re face down unlike the massage places on the beach which are on a mattress on the floor.
The prices a slightly more than the places on the beach but you get what you pay for.
