Food was tasty and the cocktails were delicious, but make sure you know what's on the menu before you go as there is only one choice each day. We were a bit disappointed to find this was something we'd had for lunch that same day, so pays to check beforehand! The cookery course is fantastic and well worth doing but I would take part in this before eating at the restaurant.

Thank you so much for your review. I do understand your disappointment, especially if you had the same dish for lunch!

The cocktails are superb here. We think it is the best on the island. The app's for dinner were very tasty, although the main entree (chicken and cashew) was a bit salty for my liking, and I normally like my food on the salty side.

I enrolled in a cooking class, specifically to learn how to make curry paste from scratch. It was very fun and informative.

If you are interested in learning to cook Thai, give the class a try.

Went there for dinner with my family including one year old twins. On arrival it looked very nice. A modern simple style. Had read all the great reviews but we were disapointed by the experience, except for the lovely margaritas.
The service, especially the young western girl waitress, was slack and unhelpful. The menu was small, with only one choise of food (but still a confusing menu description). The red curry we had was doll and tasted more like a sweet and sour dish.
Perhaps it will be enjoyable for visitors without children but families will most likely feel unwelcome as we did. Even in the menu it stated, that you should "keep your children under control". That just sets a very bad atmosphere from the start. As if parents are totally indifferent as to how their children are behaving.
Only go there without children and perhaps to take part in the cooking class.

We had the set tasting menu for Xmas Eve - very nice food and very nice wine.

The lime juice soft drink is about the best in Ko Lanta and the Lemon Grass Cocktail was fab.

Great view along the beach.

Go there - be aware that you may need to reserve a table at peak times.

On a beach of so-so bars and restaurants, Time For Lime is a stands head and shoulders above the rest, Not just because it is in a tree house; the food was the best we tasted on the island.
