Wonderful place, take the rooms on the ground floor, which have a direct garden access. Location is great, next to the river. Anyway you will need to take a tuk tuk or hire bicycles to visit sightseeings. Staff is very nice and rooms very clean.

Excellent family run boutique hotel. Dang and Ot the lovely owners were soooo warm and welcoming and eager to please. We were greeted with a warm smile and a cold fruit juice. The setting is quiet and calm with a large grassed common area with seating nestled along the riverbank. We enjoyed the location away from the noise of the city centre and had easy access to tuk tuks for only 40 baht into the centre or free bicycles to ride around. Our ground floor room was clean, quiet and tastefully decorated with all the western amenities you could need. We enjoyed our two nights stay with our graceful hosts who also awoke early in the morning for our 5am departure. It truly was a pleasure to stay at this wonderful hotel with the sweetest owners we have met in Thailand. We highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a lush green garden, next to an old traditional Thai house (used as a lobby area and reading room - full of precious antique decorations). The rooms were gorgeous and you could see the dedicated attention paid to all the smallest details. The staff were so helpful and polite (this is a family run hotel). The breakfast was excellent (you have 4 choices to choose from). You can watch the world goes by in the garden, where you can see an old pagoda from a distance, as well as different kind of birds visiting the small canal at the end of the courtyard. We all slept very nicely and woke up to hear birds singing in the morning. I highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to have a relaxing holiday in Ayutthaya.

We really enjoyed our stay at this small 'boutique' hotel, which counts only 7 rooms. The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated. We stayed at one of the ground floor rooms. The outside rain-shower is possibly the best shower we ever had ! The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Free bicycles are included in the room rate, and we could even continue to use our bicycle for a full day after checking out!
We were asked to indicate in the evening what kind of breakfast we would like the next day. Options include 'European breakfast', 'American breakfast' and 'Thai breakfast'. The Thai breakfast consisted of rice and meat skewers. European breakfast consisted of a selection of fruits and yoghourt. Whichever type of breakfast you choose, you have toasts and fruit juices available. We certainly found breakfast sufficient.
Of course we cannot compare with other hotels in the city - but this hotel is definitely worth every penny!!
One advice though - if you arrive in the train station, take a tuk-tuk. It will take you about an hour to walk the full distance to the hotel. A Tuk-Tuk to/from the train station was about 100 Thb. Once you get your bicycle, all temples and restaurants are very easily reached.

This nice and cosy hotel is an oase after a few days Bangkok. Good clean rooms and a beautifull garden for breakfast. The location is a bit out of town but the free bike's or a tuk-tuk gives you easy acces to the tempels, the elephants and the restaurants.

Room Tip: Downstair rooms gives direct acces to the garde

We had booked this accommodation based on other reviews and I must say that we were not even disappointed to the slightest.
From a very welcome to extremely helpful and knowledgable owners. The rooms are extremely clean and very well maintained- so perfect to recover from the jet lag. The decoration is very authentic Thai. Baan Tye Wang has been the perfect start to our holiday.

Thank you we will be definitely returning back here.

Cosy hotel located in Ayutthaya. This hotel is lovely. When you stay in the hotel it looks like your home. Very comfortable hotel has bicycles provided free of charge and you can ride all day. Breakfast is good but you need to order the day before. The hotel is very close to canal so mosquitoes annoy you a little. No swimming pool, fitness center and nightlife.
