I stayed in this hotel fir a week end. I must say that it is a treat for my eyes when I was roaming inside the hotel. The food was excellent. I have to thank Mr. Daniel for his kind service. All other staffs were friendly and professional. The hotel is filled with lot of trees. With lot of confident you can choose this hotel for your stay.

Lilys Valley resort - One of the major highlights of this place is the excellent hospitality. I must say the staff truly go out of their way to make the guests feel at home.
The resort has a series of cottages nestled amidst greenery. The pathways connecting the cottages and the reception and dining area definitely add to the beauty of the place with beautiful flowers peeping at you from nooks and corners. We had booked a suite and it was cozy and nice. The normal rooms are little too basic and I think there is a scope of improvement there :) We had taken a 2 day package which included breakfast and dinner. The food was really yummy- no elaborate spread- but simple food with very homely touch to it. The resort doesnt really have any play facilities as such are are limited to only a carrom board and maybe a few board games and books. Anyways being in Kodaiinstead of spending time with fancy in-house facilities I suggest one spends quality time with nature- be it along side the lake or coakers walk etc

Room Tip: Suite was very cosy and nice. I had a look at a normal cottage and didnt like it much. Maybe the v...

I stayed in Lilly's resort for my honeymoon trip. We left stranded in Bathlagundu bus stop getting the news that last bus to kodai has left already. It was Mr.Ruban who helped us with a taxi to travel to resort at a minimal price. Hospitality at its best. We reached Kodai almost by 11'o clock and the staffs over there were very courteous to serve the dinner hot. Travel arrangements made them are fabulous. The ambience of the resort, staffs behaviour are unique which you can't find in other types of resorts or hotels in kodai at a reasonable cost.

We arrived to this quaint property (~20 rooms) after 5 frightful nights in various hotels in Kerala hotel-wise...
Despite arriving in the morning we were offered our room immediately.
From there on there was no request unattended - from laundry, in-room coffee & tea, fresh salad and eggs for breakfast, an umbrella for a morning walk in the rain, and a warm recommendation to a local restaurant that turned out to be great!
Note some rooms have a bath, some a regular shower, and others a bucket – common practice for domestic tourists, but a challenge for some westerners….

A perfect place to have a relax able and peaceful time on holidays. The place is very good with full of greenery. It feels like U are in a different place without any disturbance.
When it comes to the staff, they are just awesome. U ask them anything, it ll be there right in front of U. The hospitality that they provide is outstanding.

Overall a very good place and good staff.

Special Thanks to Nagendran for making us so comfortable during the stay with a long-lasting memory.

Room Tip: Rooms towards the end and middle are good with nice ventilation and atmosphere.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Lilly’s Valley is a uniquely beautiful resort set amid terraced gardens on three acres of wooded land, ringed by towering eucalyptus trees. Its 21 traditional stone cottages are constructed in the colonial British style, with handcrafted woodwork details throughout. It is the rare resort with an eco-focus and no concrete structures: even the furniture is lovingly made by hand by talented craftsmen! Built in 1982, Lilly’s Valley was the first resort in Kodaikanal. Our stone-and-wood cottages, both free-standing and attached, can accommodate couples, small and large family groups, students, and corporate groups. We are located in a quiet suburban neighborhood exactly 2 km from the center of town and the lake. With a short taxi ride or 15-minute walk, you’ll be in the heart of shopping, boating, horse-riding, roller-skating and other tourist attractions. Our style is low-key and customized to you: you can order simple, tasty Western and South Indian dishes from the kitchen, and hold gatherings in the garden gazebo with your own music and programs. We’ll even arrange a cozy night bonfire! We have special rates for long-term stays of one week or more, up to a 50% discount. Discounts are also available for weekdays. Many repeat customers, both Indian and foreign, have been coming here for decades, drawn back by the beauty, peacefulness, and cozy cottages. One Italian child born in one of our cottages returned 25 years later with her husband to stay in the same cottage! ... more   less
