Hotel has excellent rooms with decent interiors and well maintained too.we stayed for 2 nights and had a very peaceful stay.no restaurant but they serve with limited veg.menu which is good enough.civil construction is a problem that can be understandable since extension of the hotel. good staffs with responsibility of caring for you.

Hotel is pretty good, new and with good interiors.
It's also in an ideal location. Very Close to lake. Manager is very proactive and accommodating

Negative: room service guys don't speak English and Also there is no in house restaurant, you will have to go out for better food. The food arranged by hotel not that great. Even the fee breakfast was the same I do I for two days.

Apart from the above two negative its a good hotel new property value for money compared to some of the other hotels in same line who are old and charging high.

It was last moment decision to check-in at vara valley, referred by a friend of a friend. It looks like a new construction as hotel is well maintained, above average in cleanliness and hygiene aspects. located on convent road, less than a 1 KM from away from lake, it's location is a big plus. Staff is reasonably good (when you compared to rest places in Kodai) and they do good job in keeping you happy.

there some issues as well with Vara valley, no restaurant (they have just 12 rooms and 40 more are coming, restaurant should be working by May 2014), hot water as centralized heating / solar system is not so effective, credit card machine wasn't working.

Pros:
1. neat and clean
2. hygienic
3. location
4. value for money

Cons:
1. no restaurant
2. hot water issue (centralized heating is not good)
3. parking (limited car park 3 to 5 cars max)

Varaha Valley is a fairly new hotel. The promoters' parent company is into construction and this shows in the hotel's well designed rooms and interiors. It's a compact hotel (like a mini 3-star hotel) but with spacious rooms.. very very clean and well maintained.

Currently they don't have a restaurant, but we learnt that it is under construction. That will certainly be an advantage for future guests. We didn't miss the restaurant though, because the room service was efficient and menu was decent.

Otherwise the service was good and all our requests were promptly handled. From booking online to after check-out luggage storage, Mr Johnson and his colleagues had been very friendly and accomodating. Overall our stay was very peaceful and stress-free.

Honeymoon Package: We opted for this 2 nights package, as it includes stay, food and sight-seeing at a very reasonable price. Check for details on their website.

When you think of something you should have a smile on face,Indeed Varaha valley will give us. The flickering interiors and amenities gives the room cosy living.Very clean and hygienic.we came here for a vaccation to forget the stress,we were treated with good hospitality.Perceptive staffs. They only have veg.room service with limited menu, should have a multicusine, break fast was good.We had a spontaneous interaction with the manager( DAVID ),he has conceptual skills. It is fortunate we stayed here and had a very comfortable stay.
