I was driving my own vehicle and absolutely loved the drive through the forest to Berijam lake. There are many points on the way with beautiful views. Clicked many nice pictures. You need to take permission from the Forest department to enter this protected area by filling a form and paying a small fee for your own vehicle. The permit can be easily sought from the local Forest office which opens at 09:30am. I got my permit on my own without any problems. There is no limit on the number of vehicles allowed during the weekdays, but there is one on the weekends. You can pack sandwiches or lunch and have a small picnic around the lake. Lookout for Bisons, you might be lucky enough to spot these majestic animals.
