After visiting the Berijam lake and Silent valley, we headed off to the Pillar rocks. A small park is maintained with some beautiful flowers. We went up and stood near the railings. There was very thick mist. We had no idea where the pillar rocks would be seen and how they would look. At a distance we could see the white mist moving slowly. So we had the hope of the mist moving away from the pillar rocks too. After ten minutes, the mist moved off slowly as if the curtain was being drawn off the pillar rocks. The rocks are in the shape of two huge pillars - they are 500 feet in height. Within five minutes, the mist seemed to be saying, "Catch a glimpse if you can!" and quickly moved over the rocks once again totally hiding them from our view!
