This place must be visited after dark as it is brightly lit and should be seen against the backdrop of the city and the taragarh fort. Its a Chhatri - so its more like a memorial for someone. We were told that its a memorial for the people - dhabais - who used to look after the kids of the royal family in honour of our services - difficult to verify this. We were also told that Chhatris - if with a roof means that it was for a male member of the family and if left without a roof, meant that it was for a female member of the family.
