Except that they dont supply any toileteries the hotel is excellent in all other aspects. The hotel too is located in a very narrow lane and your car cant park in front to unload your luggage. But once you enter the hotel premises it is out of this world. The cleanliness is striking. The artifacts in the premises takes you back to in history. The dining area especially is adorned with a lot of antiques and old paintings. No wonder the haveli is more than 250 years old. The family members who run the hotel, the mehata's are very courteous and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and the front courtyard with a swing is a nice place to chill out.

This is an old Brahman's house, and owners are Brahmans, so forget about stag parties.
Hospitable owner, beautiful hand-painted room, peace and real history around.
A/C was noisy and caused drafto over the room, so no use during the night.
Very good location, in the middle of the city. Crazy monkeys playing around. Keep your belongings with you:-)
Breakfast proper, and unforgettable banana lassi. Staff helpful and invisible (great after other hotel experiences in India).

We visited Bundi last month and stayed at the beautiful restored haveli braj bhushanjee.. It's situated just below the Palace, and we stayed in one of the two fabulous rooms on the upper floor, with stunning views across the town. We had a look at all the rooms - each was tastefully decorated, full of character and extremely comfortable. Do mot miss to visit Dinning Room-beautifully decoarted with old paintings, photos and antique stuff. The dinner and breakfast was very good, served in historic dinning room.

Staying in this lovingly renovated 250 year old Haveli is a real treat. As soon as we entered our room, we knew we had found another jewel in our 20 days travels. The beautiful, colourful murals decorating entire ceilings and wall, the amazing dining room, the paintings in courtyards, this REAL heritage hotel made us feel as if we were living in a bygone era.
Charming two brothers who owned this Haveli, are very keen to preserve their heritage and amazing efforts to keep their past alive.
We will be back with more time to explore Bundi and this Haveli

After our research we found Haveli Braj Bhushanjee is perfect and best place to stay in Bundi, with all its heritage and culture. Haveli is decorated with old paintings, hand made antique art effects, old murals and many more.
Rooms are very large with nice views, decorated like palace with all modern amenities.
We highly recommend this to visitors.

Interesting antique-furnished rooms in historic family compound. A bit more expensive than usual for this type of accommodation. Wonderful family staff.

We stayed here for 2 nights to break our journey between Ranakpur and Ranthanbore. It was a good choice of hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a sofa and easy chair as well as the usual bedroom furniture. The bathroom was spotless with a good supply of hot water.
We ate dinner in the hotel and enjoyed the food.
The owners and staff were very pleasant.
The old town of Bundi is very busy with narrow streets and we were pleased to have the Haveli to return to - we could sit in the courtyard with a sweet lime soda and recharge our batteries before setting off to explore again.
