“Maybe the best option in Bundi”
Reviewed November 22, 2013

Great staff under the very capable Manager Kukki. Authentic food. The only alcoholic option is beer, as the place seems to be semi-dry. The bathrooms are clean but sub-standard. The whole hotel could do with a bit of TLC...
The father of the Manager, Mr Kukki is archaeologist and the local authority on rock-paintings in the area. He is also an excellent and expert guide for Garh Palace, the step-wells and the other sights in Bundi. Rarely ever have I had such a competent guide before.

Lovely little Haveli, but really a bit basic. The photos on the website is a bit deceiving. We had two of their suites, which was lovely and very large, but the bathrooms were very basic and most of the electric points didn't work. No mirror in the bathroom either. The staff and the Manager Mr Kukki is extreamly friendy and compitent. The will do everything possible to make your stay memorable. Make sure to get Mr Kukki senior to be your local guide! He is fantastic and knows everybody. He could open doors everywhere! Make sue to let him show you the fabulous Garh Palace!
The food at the restaurant is very good and the Roof Terrace a lovely spot to have sundowners. I could recommend this Haveli to anyone going to Bundi, just be prepared and don't expect a Sheraton. Loads of character and charm.

Excellent place with beautiful rooms which are done very tastefully. Staff is amazingly polite and quick to act upon on your request. All rooms have their own charm and different look, it literally feels like you are living in a Haveli and not a Hotel. Access to the main road is quick and the bazaar is walking distance. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking of an authentic Rajasthani Experience. The owner - Surender is almost always at the hotel and is extremely friendly and helpful, always taking care of his guest or just generally chatting with them which makes you feel at home. A perfect home away from home. Worth every penny you spend there.

Room Tip: Rooms are different from each other but take whatever is available during peak season and when going...

This is a beautiful hotel with delightful helpful staff. I stayed here with my two children and a friend, and we all absolutely loved it.

The rooms are beautiful - large, very tastefully decorated, and with extremely comfortable beds. The food is delicious. My son was unwell so the staff very graciously brought a massive range of beautifully presented food upstairs for all of us.

I wish we could have stayed much longer!

I bought a group of women travelers here during October, the service of the staff was great, friendly and professional. The manager who I think is also the owner went out of his way to help me get my group tickets on a train to Agra, which I really appreciated! Cook is great and the meals were superb for the group who all loved the food.
Would recommend this as a lovely budget stay for groups!

On our way from chittorgarh we stayed at this hotel in bundi for one night during Oct-2013. Though our online booking was for deluxe AC room we were surprised to note that the same was upgraded to suite room. The room is really excellent, very big with a nice heritage appearance. The hotel is situated in a prime location near naval sagar lake with walking distance from bundi palace/ fort and main market. Other tourist attractions are also nearby. The service quality as well as food is really excellent. The hotel manager as well as other staffs are very courteous and helpful. Perhaps this hotel is the best in bundi. Overall we strongly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Go for suite room if possible
