Owner description: This is the site of the April 13, 1919 massacre of hundreds of innocents by British troops.

There's an unpleasant feeling of death in the surroundings as you enter Jallianwala Bagh. The well is still there and you can see bullet marks on the walls all around. Its worth visiting although it makes you uncomfortable. I got the same unpleasant feeling when I visited the NS Documentation Center in Cologne, Germany where Jews have been tortured to death by Nazis.

We visited this site with a guide and her telling the story and envisioning how 1000's were trapped by the British was very moving. This site only takes a few minutes.

The place sends shivers. The son ut lumiere was really excellent. This needs to be spoken and informed. The chairs need repair and could have been better.
