Not much to see in the park. It is near to Golden temple so it attracts lot of crowd. However if you are a History lover you can get a glimpse of the cruel part of Indian History. Otherwise the park is an average park one will find in Indian towns.

Its a very near to Golden temple so any one visiting golden temple should not miss it or vice versa

What ever happend there once you visit there and visualize / imagine then its really a highest level of demolition of human rights.

Given the historic and emotional importance of the place, it is disappointing that more has not been done since the original monuments were constructed 30
= years back.

A moving and quite beautiful garden now exists in this area of carnage. We were unprepared for this and found it ironic that one of the most peaceful and tranquil areas of Amritsar resides where such brutality took place.
This is a lovely place to escape the noise and chaos for a couple of hours.
A moving tribute to the lost lives on that terrible day.

A truly sad day in the history. The place has been redone since I visited it 30 yrs back. 3-4 minutes before Golden Temple on the way.If you have time please go to Cinema on 1st floor of the main Building to watch a 10 min documentary. The only problem is that it starts on the hour and has only 1 run every hour. Why this? beats me.
