Sarhad is located in a large functional complex on the way to the Pakistani border. We went for dinner after visiting the border ceremony but on reflection feel that it is perhaps more of a lunch time haunt than an evening one. When we visited there were only a few people eating thus the atmosphere was a bit flat. The building can be a little difficult to get to after the ceremony as you need to do a U-turn across a busy dual carriageway. The restaurant serves tasty Lahore food but, like many Northern Indian restaurants, it was not spicy enough for my tastes. We shared Lahore biryani, chicken, and fish, all of which we enjoyed. Recommended for lunch before a visit to the India/Pakistan border.
