A nice hotel in Amritsar, quite unexpected for the city. We had read good reviews on the internet, it lived up to those reviews. The rooms are very clean and spacious, have lcd TVs in the rooms, with clean bathrooms. For a change, the bed linens and bathroom accessories, towles etc were pretty neat and clean. The rooms however faces another building if you look out and don't have any outside view.
It has a good Indian (Moti Mahal Deluxe) and chinese (china white) restaurants. The food is pretty nice there.
The location of the hotel is also pretty nice, near to the railway station and golden temple.
Please avoid taking hotel taxi for sight seeing, they rip you off with Rs 1800/- for a day. If you are going to the Wagah border especially on a weekend, you will hardly get to see the ceremony in huge crowd. Golden temple is a must see. A lunch/dinner at Bharavan dhaba or Kesar Dhaba is also recommended and is worth it.
