My personal view are as below

* Ladies have saprate Q and seating so if you are with family and kids it is worse in the crowd
* Hooting ! we are there to see a flag down ceremony, no hooting should be there to show that
how much we love our country. if one want to show love to country try to improve other thinks
with which we can be proud,
* Often remain very crowded. They should have registration (online or offline to limit visitors)
* The army and BSF staff is very rude in every aspects no sense of dealing with the citizens,
may be because of overcrowd almost everyday

The beating retreat ceremony in the evening at Wagah border where BSF and Pakistan Rangers participate is a real treat to watch. Though this is a customary and friendly event the tempo created on both sides is really memorable

The spectacle of the daily Border Ceremony is thrilling. It is full of noise, colour, pageantry, music and nationalistic chanting.
There is a lot of security following the recent bomb blast, but once you make it through to this daily ceremony, it is impossible not to get caught up in the magic of the event, joining in with the shouting and cheering, clapping the extravagant gestures and high kicking of the border guards.
Not to be missed if you get the chance to go.

If you only see two things in Amritsar make sure the Golden Temple and Wagah Border are on that list. It was truly amazing watching the Indian and Pakistan border guards face up to each other with synchronized marching. Get there early as the queues build up well over an hour before.
