“Very decent breakfast”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

On Sundays there might be a queue. Besides Pooris (made in shudh ghee) and chana. Also enjoy the lassi - though not as good as Gyan Singh Lassi at hathi gate. The halwa is average.

A must visit eatery. Best puri channa in the world, always attracted by the taste yet simplicity of the menu.

“Worth the popularity!”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

Reviewing the online reviews and recommendation by Rocky and Mayur of 'Highway on my plate' (NDTV goodtimes), I went to check out this place in the morning. Their round and fluffy poori, spicy chana and tangy longi lived up to my expectation. Their gud halwa came in as a surprise with its subtle sweetness and texture against the usual sooji halwa. 2poori chana and a plate of gud halwa (Rs.30) costed me Rs. 75. The use of desi ghee had me satiated. Ambiance was decent and hygiene maintained. All in all, value for money and experience is bang on!
