This is a reasonably well located property, located very near the airport. The room size is good, the tariffs offered are reasonable. The staff is courteous, seems to have a positive, helpful attitude, but the hotel management needs to invest in staff grooming, house-keeping, and team work. The food was not average.
The following points are being shared for the benefit of fellow travellers and for the hotel management as feedback so that they can improve, house keeping, food, and level of response to customers.
1.) I checked in at about 13 30 hours in the afternoon. Inspite of prior reservation and had to wait for nearly half an hour, because room "was not ready". After the room was given, floor was not clean, glass panels were full of finger prints, bathroom door hinge was broken.
2.) Although the property is only a year old there is a tremendous amount of seepage on first floor.
3.) The telephone in the room did not "ring" for incoming calls. Despite several complaints and attempts by the engineering staff to "fix"the problem, it could not get resolved.
4.) In the 24 hour coffee shop, they have several staff members who go around in business suits and converse with you. But if you place a request for a dish, these guys keep passing instructions to one another. There is high probability that your order will not be registered or if it does get registered, you may get something that you had not ordered.
5.) Oriental and Indian food is quite greasy. The chef will do well to look into reducing oil in his cooking.
The good thing is that the staff is smiling and courteous. They acknowledge the short-comings and try to help. I sincerely wish that these guys can put their act together. Inspite of all the problems, their staff attitude was "we are sorry, but would like to help to make your stay comfortable"
