Came to know about this place thru Tripadvisor. Had one of the best mutton thalis ever. Even the vegetarian thali was good. Service was friendly, even got chaas made especially for us. Will recommend everyone to go here, provided you are a foodie. Ambience very basic. But overall complete value for money

If you are in Nashik and want to sample some very authentic, mouth watering Maratha Non Veg food, then Divtya Budhalya is the place to try. One has limited options. There is the mutton thali orr the chicken thali priced at less than Rs.200. One get two jowar rotis, a decent helping of chicken or mutton curry, a bowl of gravy and a helping of rice with onion, and chilli paste (thecha). One can also order side dishes like chicken/ mutton fry, fish, eggs, and for the odd one out in a group who is a vegan, there is some vegetarian fare but its so that the odd man out does'nt have to go hungry. The food is simply delicious. A must visit place.

It's tough to pronounce the name of this Maharashtrian open air restaurant. Nor do know what it means. Some Marathi Mumbo jumbo I guess. But the non-veg Thalis they serve are out of this world.

I tried Mutton Special Thali which was mind-blowing in taste but costs only Rs.240/-. I opted for Jowar Bhakris instead of chaptalise. They give 4 mutton dishes and then top it up with a vati of mutton biryani. The curries are on the spicier side but delicious. The food reflects genuine rural Maharashtrian flavour.

The place was packed on a sat evening with locals. Clearly, many were repeaters. Most tables had families enjoying food which may bring tears to your eyes...

A must visit when in The Wine Capital of India, Nashik.
