Though it looks dirty and the river is full of garbage. The design of the ghats is something. I visited early morning at the ghats for photography and it was a treat. The activities around the ghats are very rich and varied. there is also a vegetable market along the ghats. Do have a stroll through it. Enriching experience.

It's a sacred place, mostly crowded yet seemed to have a serenity to it! There are many religious rituals performed here & hence the place appears to be littered but that's the case with all religious places. Though it's a little tricky to locate since there are quite a few roads that lead here but ask your directions to shop owners who probably know the right route.
