It is a very good place to visit especially for kids for educational point of view as they can see the complete process of making the Tea from the leaves

“Good time pass”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

Costly ticket price, but useful. Includes - a video on Munnar's history of tea gardens, a talk on nuances of tea and tea making, walk through of tea making process.

But the eye-catcher was the tea shop, where we over purchased the different varieties of tea!

“Interesting if you do not have better to do”
Reviewed January 9, 2013 via mobile

The museum is limited you see the machine to make tee, but without explanation it was very difficult to get a good impression. The guide is very passionate, but he accent was very difficult to understand, not only for us but also our Indian friends could not follow.
It is OK to go if you do not have Berger to do

“Now I know more about tea”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

It is really an attraction- to visit a tea factory to know the difference in tea product, to watch the process and at last to take tea-tasting. To buy good tea better in a shop in the town which is being run by tea-factory. I recommend to buy white tea which is quite rare. Do not buy anything else except tea in this shop ( expensive!) Our group had a guide for the factor who was nice and experienced.

“A must if you have not seen a tea factory!”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

Really a fun place for a short visit. You will see how tea is made and graded. There is also a shop on the premises but the company runs another shop in town, which has bigger selection of teas
