The guide who explained the process was very passionate about tea :)
The 28 min video about the history of Munnar and the tea plantations is very well taken! It is not to be missed.
The other items on display are not too fascinating though...
They sell good quality tea at a VERY reasonable price at the tea museum store!

a Museum dedicated to tea and its history. Do not forget to buy the book on tea before you leave. The demonstration process unit is awesome.

We got a feel of the working of tea estates and the processes invloved. liked the documentary on how tea came to nilgiris through British. Bought some nice flovoured teas from the museum outlet. Nothing spectacular but surely informative.

An good place to understand the history of Tea estates in Munnar, the place includes pictures, old machines, there is a short 30 minutes movie to explain the history it is an interesting watch, and so is the Tea making process. You can also buy various kinds of tea from here for gifting.

This seems like a regular feature on most tourists' itineraries in Munnar. Its an ok place to go, nothing out of the ordinary and just a check box location more than anything.

If you like tea, there is a small shop at the end of the guided tea production tour where one can buy all sorts of boxes of tea.
