Something nice to do that takes approximately one hour (includes a 30 minutes movie on the tea history). The first part is the movie which recall the main facts of the tea history and the benefits brought to the workers by one of his key player: Tata. After what you will sea how the tea is processed from the picked leaf to the grounded tea. At the end of the visit the visit you can buy various tea from the shop from which I have bought white tea!

The guide who explained the process was very passionate about tea :)
The 28 min video about the history of Munnar and the tea plantations is very well taken! It is not to be missed.
The other items on display are not too fascinating though...
They sell good quality tea at a VERY reasonable price at the tea museum store!

a Museum dedicated to tea and its history. Do not forget to buy the book on tea before you leave. The demonstration process unit is awesome.

We got a feel of the working of tea estates and the processes invloved. liked the documentary on how tea came to nilgiris through British. Bought some nice flovoured teas from the museum outlet. Nothing spectacular but surely informative.
