We saw more than 100 Indian gaur there and many Sambars and many types of birds. Enjoy the 90 minutes boat cruise , should bring own binoculars to see the wildlife there .

The hill is located in one of the best location and between multiple mountains and is about about 8900+ feet high. They have preserved it as is and not doing much of development expect the road. The water flowing from there is good and drinkable. The clouds keep on coming and gong and it's best place for taking time lapse videos.

When you reach there you need to take ticket as it's a huge line, post that government mini bus will take you to the top but still you need to walk for about 500mtrs to reach on top.

This is must visit place.

If you are on a leisure holiday to Munnar, this is one of the best places to visit ! You can enjoy the beauty of tea gardens and landscape during bus ride, trek to top of the mountain and on the way, if lucky, get a glimpse of Nilgiri Thar ! Go early in the day, to avoid crowd !

If you have been to safari in some good places or other national parks, this might disappoint you. We visited during Neelakurunji flower bloom and were disappointed with what we saw. Except a road to walk and spotting some animals, there was not much to explore.

Valley view with all green Tea plantation, beautiful view on way. Once the Bus stops, one has to trek a little to see Nilgiri Tahr.
