“Long Q”

This place has such a long queue. Be there around at 9.30 and you can avoid them a little. The local cab drivers can make reservations, if you can reserve you dont have to wait at all

“Raja malai-the abode of the fames Mountain Goats”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2014

A beautiful are in Munnar. You will need entry tickets to enter the Park area of the Hills. Either you can travel in the Forest Department's Jeeps or walk it up. In the early mornings, clouds will float around you. Before the Sun is up you can see the occupants of this park, the famed Mountain Goats (called varayadu) will walk down from the hills and croos the path very near you. The breeding season was just over and I was lucky to see a beevy of calves. The striking sight is the way these goats climb the rocks and vertical climbs with ease. Their hooves are designed o have a grip on such cliffs.

“Climbing the mountain to catch a Glimpse of the The Tahr”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2014

This is a mix of motoring cum trekking experience. And not for the faint hearted or poor cardiac performance. The bus takes you over curvy roads and once you alight you need to trek for 3-4 km The scenic views are mind blowing. And if you are lucky you might get to see the elusive and endangered Nilagiri Tahr .We sure were lucky enough to sight these on the way back.

“Eravikulam National Park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2014

Eravikulam National Park is one the important attractions of munnar.
Those who love hills and scenic locations this is a wonderful place.
Few precautions before you visit this place. It is better to avoid this place on holidays and sunday.
Else please buy a ticket in Munnar town at the Eravilulam national park office else it we will waste lot of time for the queue.
We were able to see lot of Niligiri Tahr- local goat.

Overall good experience.
