I really enjoyed the 3 nights I spent here. The hotel itself was small and cozy, room was clean, bathroom good enough, service very good and the food at the restaurant while slightly more expensive than local fare was reasonably priced and tasty. The location was a bit out of the way, while only 9 km from Munnar, it is a half hour tuk tuk ride along a bumpy curvy road. The positive is that it is in a quiet scenic spot, with the most amazing view from the balcony, so if you want solitude and quiet and nature this is the spot. However, December is festival month, and there was some temple blaring the most annoying music for 2 days, from 5/6 am until late at night...outside the hotel's control but still worth checking.

Room Tip: Make sure you have a balcony, main asset of this room

Me and my wife were there for 2 nights during our kerala trip. The location was just great, right in the middle of the forest, my balcony was backing up to the woods. What an awesome view it was. Waking up to the birds singing and chirping was just too good, felt very close to nature. The food and staff was good, I wouldn't say excellent but good. Rooms were very clean and properly maintained. If you would like to be close to nature, I highly recommend this place.

We ( 4 adults + 2 kids), had a wonderful stay at this resort. we stayed in 2 adjoining rooms on the ground floor in the new block ( Rooms 201 & 202). Rooms are quite spacious and tastefully done. Neat and spacious bathrooms .. the rain shower was awesome.
Food was good... I wouldnt say great.. but good.. Reading another review, I think I was able to get a good deal as far as the price goes... We had opted for MAP... it was worth every rupee we paid.Only let down was the dessert. But.. even that wasnt worth complaining.
Service was up to the mark. Whatever was the service call... the response was prompt.
If you have kids with you, i would advise not to go for the rooms we used. there is a small patch of lawn in fornt of the room and then is a steep fall.. no railings... but again.. if they had put railings there.. it would have spoiled the feel.
If you are staying in the same rooms and if you can afford to go to sleep with your curtains open, please do it. Its a treat to wake up to the morning sun.. the room has full glass front.

Good job Bracknell team...thanks for a wonderful stay... we enjoyed every bot of it

Room Tip: If you dont have kids with you.. opt for the rooms 201 or 202

Located among wild trees and cardamon plantations (and NOT among tea plantations) a few kms outside the unimposing town of Munnar. The hotel arranges a 2 to 4 hour hike around the forest, cardamon and tea plantations. Our guide, Babu, was really friendly and very knowledgeable. The hotel staff were friendly and the rooms were great and food was excellent. Great experience. Rooms are overpriced (we paid Rs5,000) and I think Rs4,000 would have been more reasonable (this included a 3-hour hike and breakfast included). NO cold drinks which was a huge disappointment!!! They tried to arrange ice but after a few hours informed me that ice was not possible. At Rs5,000 per night and no ice? Terrible! Keep your headlamp ready as the electricity goes off frequently. Highly recommended place to stay.

Room Tip: Take the top floor with a view over the forest. No open views as the trees are higher than the build...

I stayed in this nice hotel for three days. I find it as a wonderful experience. I live in Dubai. For me staying here is like going back to Mother Nature. From my room I could see small spring flowing throw the nearby large rock. From the balcony, you feel that you are inside a forest. Rooms were quite large and neat. Food was really tasty. Friendly and efficient staff makes my stay comfortable.
If you are coming here first time with your own conveyance (And if you are a city driver), try to reach there before sun set. So that you can reach here comfortably.
Marvelous ambience and great location makes my kids so comfortable and happy that they were not in a mood to go even for sight-seeing. For next vacation to Munnar I have no doubt which hotel I need to choose.
