“Really?”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

I wanted to go to this but instead of being open on the two occasions we tried to visit (and it was meant to be open according to the posted opening times) we found it closed. Disappointing.

“Average museum”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

The last ruler of Junagarh did not want to join indian republic after its independence.so he managed to run away to Pakistan . in this process, he took away all he could take with him to Pakistan . but whatever was left behind, is still kept in this museum. it is a small symbol of erstwhile royalty, but one must visit it when you are in Junagarh.

“Junagadh Kingdom Artifacts”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

A nice collection of the various articles / artifacts from the times of the last rulers of the Junagadh kingdom. The darbar hall has been recreated with all original furniture, a lot of the textile work some collection of arms and armaments and portraits of various rulers. Definitely worth spending a couple of hours to get a sense of the history of Junagadh.
