“Unique but needs care”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2013

Not crowded at all!! You can spend share some beautiful moments with your partner / family here along with watching the sun set and dolphins swim (you yourself wont want to swim though). This beach needs to be nurtured so as to attract more people!!

You can also opt for speed boat rides / catamarans for a small party (that comes at a cost though)!!

“Excellent for dolphin watching, not swimming”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2012

We visited Coco beach in Dec 2012. The water didn't look clean enough for swimming due to the large number of boats in the area. There was a small amount of garbage washed up on shore. We decided to do a dolphin watching boat trip and booked at after haggling at the one shack in the area. During our boat trip, we were fortunate enough to spot between 10-20 dolphins. The trip was definitely worth it. There is a bathroom on the beach which was not too bad in terms of cleanliness. Be sure to bring your own toilet paper!

There are a large amount of small shells that are washed up on the shore. So in terms of shell hunting this is a great place.

“shells everywhere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 19, 2012

The Coco Beach is so hidden that you would never know when it has passed. It is situated on the Mandovi River. The beach is very different and unique. Most of the sand here is of black color. It is good for swimming as the water is not rough and the waves are very low and mild. The sand is filled with very small shells that are spilled all over.It is famous for dolphin spotting.I also did dolphin spotting and i was lucky that i saw some. The beach is small it is not congested. The natural beauty is spread all over.It is also good for photography. The negative point is only one-the beach needs more cleanliness.

“Paradise destroyed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

This is a relatively quiet beach about a ten minute drive from Candolim. Can be busy in the mornings as quite a lot of boat trips leave from here. I have been to Coco Beach a few times, but each time I have been, it is busier than the last.
