Average. Get what you pay for. Just.

Stayed here for two nights. The first room they showed me was very smelly and opened onto a child's playground. I asked to move and was shown another room which was fine. It's very run down though and the pool isn't open which was disappointing.

The reason for the average rating is that it is VERY noisy. All rooms are around an atrium and you can hear everyone as they arrive and leave - including drunken men singing and children shouting at 1 and 3 am. Also you can hear phones, conversations and ablutions in the adjacent rooms. The hotel is not soundproof at all.

I think I was hoping for a little splash of luxury - due to the photos and reviews on here, but there was nothing luxurious about it. Food was yummy.

A Very Good Hotel

Let me get straight to the pros and cons:
PROS:
1) Excellent view from the hotel and amazing location
2) Very Courteous Staff
3) Room view was pretty good, clean and tidy
4) Room Service was very good too
5) Wi-fi was also good enough
6) Huge rooms
7) Nice pool side view to chill out with a Beer

CONS: Only one... Food...

Room tip: Choose a room that has view of the river and less trees

Fantastic hotel

Wow what a great hotel
From the minute I arrived the duty manager daisy made us very welcome also my room got upgraded thanks
I personally think this hotel is underrated it's more than what it's made out
Breakfast 100% plenty choices changes daily
Clean pool
Rooms get cleaned daily
Great great view
100% safe
Loved the hotel would definitely recommend it
I travel the world with the work and so far in india this has been the best. Forget Taj this is really good
Good value money
Layout is same as taj

Anniversary Party at River View Party Hall

We had our Parent's 50th anniversary Dinner organised at their River View hall. We had to change the location in last moment and the staff at the Crown was quite responsive. The food was quite nice and the place was done up nicely.

We found the staff very helpful and accommodating to all our needs.

The view from the hall is beautiful, unlike the regular Party halls, this one has lot of character because of the view from large glass windows. There is a very nice and large sit out where food was served.

Budget hotel

The hotel is a three star hotel but the hotel management claims it to be a 5 star & they are charging GST@28% extra on room rent even if the room rent paid by you will below the maximum limit of GST@18%.
The breakfast buffet was ok - not good but not bad either.
The front office staff were very rigid & they don't even bother to listen to your issues/problems. But the room service was very good & even the staff was very friendly & helpful.
This is a nice place to stay if you are on a lazy and relaxed holiday.
The main road is only 200 meters from the Hotel gate so it's well approachable to market.
The rooms are very good & comfortable
