We were 5 of us and booked 2 deluxe cottages, This was out first stay in haailand. I can say very easily that this is the best place to stay close to guntur.
All 5 of us were awed by the Haailand standards, all 5 of have travelled abroad extensively and know what international and indian standards are. This resort is on par with international accomodation and especially w.r.t cleanliness, maintenance, interior etc.
What we liked most is the vast expanse, there is plenty of space and you can happily wander around the cottages. Bathrooms were spick and span, AC in the rooms was effective, pool had clean and clear water. Towels in the bathroom needed replacement, breakfast was on house and was alright nothing great but had enough variety.
There is a theme park /water park, they had a wave pool, sunken bar and rain dance. We did not step into any of these as we are kind of wary of water quality etc. All of us could not believe our eyes when we saw the rain dance arena, all of us couldn’t believe our eyes. We never expected a small city/town to have these ameneties.
The only drawback is the distance and time It takes to go to Guntur city center, well who cares..if u want to have fun with a group of folks and are picky about cleanliness and other things then Haailand is the place to stay.
Their club house is another awe inspiring place…awesome stuff.
