We loved Monkey Island when we visited Roatan. We stayed at the West Bay and it was worth the trip! In fact, we went back the next night because we wanted to try other menu items. The food was delicious, authentic Tex-Mex. I loved the enchiladas and the fish tacos were excellent too. The drinks were tasty, you have to try the Monkey La-La! The atmosphere was fun and lively, the place was happening! Service was great too!

The food was delicious, arrived hot and quick (not that we were in any rush) and the food portions and drinks were generous. The two nights we went they had great local music and the whole crowd got into it. The staff was friendly and laid back having fun. Definitely a must visit when you are at the Island. We'll be back.

A newer bar and restaurant on West End. I enjoyed the whole fish special. Service was some of the best I have had in Roatan. Watched a soccer game with some friendly locals.

I only had drinks there with my friend but they have a nice selection of cocktails and they are very good. The barman was the best. He wrote our names in our Monkey-la-la with chocolate liquor.
Was awesome!
He was so very nice.
You get nachos to infinity while drinking!
Learned later on, in the Flying pig restaurant where we were having dinner, that they had bought the place and were moving in the next day so not sure if you will have the chance to go.
If you can't find, that might be why!
