“Best Crepes Ever!”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

Its a toss between here and another place for the best breakfast on the island...if you want a traditional American style breakfast that I would NOT count on Earth Mama's for that...but what they do is some amazing crepes...I recommend the Savory Crepes...DELISH!!!

Don't mind the chickens running around (this is an outdoor restaurant as most in Roatan are) or the little geckos wandering around...this is common on the island

“great breakfast”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

What a great setting. Only one other place I visited has had such a wonderful connection to its surrounding. We dined among people from all over and enjoyed the fresh breakfast burrito and fresh fruit plate, didn't get to sample the smoothies but heard they were great.

“A Hidden Culinary Treat”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

Hidden along the main street in West End, Roatan is a culinary gem that awaits you finding it. Set back from the main street, in a canopy of jungle trees and palms, is this great getaway with made to order tropical smoothies and fresh, light and tasty food. Earth Mama's is the place you are seeking.

As soon as you step off the busy street, and into the garden of Earth Mama's, you begin to relax again on your vacation. Its peaceful, its earthy, its calming. So of course, its no surprise that its one of the main places on the island for daily yoga classes too :).

The smoothies were great. they have a limited selection of both ice and yogurt based drinks, but they have everything you would want/need when on a tropical paradise island (think fresh tropical fruits). a 16oz, drink gets you 20oz piled high in your cup, so there's no skimping here, and every one of them are made to order, so it does take a few minutes to get your drink. But its well worth the wait.

Food wise, Earth Mama's has a home run going. They are only open for Breakfast and Lunch and close by 4pm, so their food is size proportioned just right for that mid-day snack or light lunch meal and their menu is just that - great finger size meals. they are big enough to share as a snack, or eat as a full meal. We ate there 3 times on our 7 day stay, because it really hit the spot for a hot summer day when you wanted a cool drink and a snack or lunchtime meal to keep you going, but you didn't want something heavy, with beans piled in it. The food was so fresh and so good. Everything we had just tasted fresh, clean, and without a lot of sauces or heavy flavors. Our favorites were the Thai Shrimp spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce, and the Grilled Lionfish Tostados with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and aioli sauce. We just could not get enough of these.

The staff and service were great; everyone was friendly and helpful without any complaints.

Cost wise was just fine and worth every penny of their moderate prices. This is not the local taco stand where everything is dirt cheap, but the prices were slightly lower than a US restaurant, and the freshness of the food was just worth it. we ate at many other places that were tourist priced and not worth it, but this place is worth spending your money at.
2 16oz smoothies, 2 meals, +tax, + tip = less than 20 USD.

We highly recommend you take a visit and enjoy for yourself; you wont be disappointed.

Best smoothies ever! It was located off the street and was shaded from the sun. The staff were very friendly.

It's ADORABLE here! I loved the food that I ordered, a veggie and bean burrito, and it came with plantain chips which were great as well.
