My boyfriend and I stayed in Apartment Aruba (Suite A) at The Beach House in early April 2014. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen has most of what you'd need to cook, though we found ourselves eating out most of the time with delicious results. We loved having a semi-private outdoor space to take in the amazing view. Two things of note about Apartment Aruba: 1) It's next to the cafe. Not a big deal to us as all the patrons were pretty quiet and 2) The shower has an odd layout. If you put your anything under the overhang, you have to take care not to hit your head reaching for it. All of the staff we helpful and made us feel welcome. I'd definitely stay at The Beach House again.

Room Tip: Two things of note about Apartment Aruba: 1) It's next to the cafe. Not a big deal to us as all...

My best friend and I went to West End to dive for her birthday. We stayed at the Beach House which is right on the water in West End and it front and center for the best sunsets in the town. We were lucky enough to get the 3rd floor room which has 2 queen beds and a big private deck to watch the sun set. The room didn't photograph as well from the pictures I'd seen before going but it's spacious and has a mini fridge, microwave, plates, bowls, cups, silverware and a coffee pot. There is a TV that we never turned on. There is a very awesome outdoor shower that is really just an opening above the shower itself and everything else is enclosed. That was a total unexpected treat. Breakfast of granola, yogurt, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, bagels, croissants and such was a great way to energize up before diving. The hotel sits on Half Moon Bay and we went snorkeling the first day there and saw a turtle, a moray eel, lobsters and a bunch of fish... we were so happily surprised to see so much marine life on a snorkel! There are beach chairs to enjoy and the owner Kate is such a helpful and sweet women. Kelly who also works in the office was amazing. We will be back!

Room Tip: 3rd floor was awesome! It's the only one up there

The beach house was the third place we stayed at on our trip to Roatan. Check in was quick, we then went to the bar/cafe on premise and had a welcome cocktail. We enjoyed lunch on the deck, great food and super reasonable. The view and ambience are perfect. You can watch people swimming in the clear water 20 feet from the Beach house.

It's conveniently located on half moon bay just steps to the restaurants and shops of West End. Right next store is Sun Downers bar. Cold drinks at a very reasonable price. Great place to watch the sunset. Steve's Paddle shack is right next door, great place to rent stand up paddle boards and take lessons.

We spent two nights, the beds were comfortable and air conditioner worked great. Our unit had a kitchen, so if you are staying for a while a nice thing to have. The staff was great, always available but never intrusive. We will back.

I stayed here a few weeks ago...the beginning of June.
The staff were so helpful, welcoming and in all just brilliant.

The Beach House is absolutely stunning inside and out and the veiws too WOW!
The location is great, lots of bars and resturants nearby but also a 2 minute drive to Antony's Key where i spent the day swimming with the dolphins, which reception organised for me and my friend.

I would highly reccommed this gorgeous place it really made it my paradise.
Thanks you so much to you all at The Beach House we had a fantastic time staying with you.
One day I will be back.

I don't even know where to begin, but The Beach House was just wonderful! My boyfriend and I began the first half of our 11-night trip in Roatan here, and I couldn't be happier. Prior to arriving, I had been e-mailing back and forth with Kate (the owner, I believe) and she was so easy to get in touch with - she always emailed me back within hours. Once we arrived, we met Kelly who was running things, and she was really great - very accommodating and helpful!

The first room we stayed in was Bayview. It is on the second floor, and had a kitchenette, two beds, and a private balcony. It was very spacious and comfortable. The second room we stayed in was Studio Daydream (top floor). It has three beds, a mini fridge, an outdoor shower (SO awesome!!!), and the most private deck of all the rooms.

The staff were so great at The Beach House. Estelle at the bar/The Landing was such a delight, and so fun to chat with! She was very helpful when we were deciding which excursions to try, where to go, and what to do on our trip.

The Beach House has a great "landing" area with couches and a hammock and tables on the bottom floor which were so nice to hang out at and get fresh air without having the sun beat down on us. There are also great lounge chairs out on the sand in the sun, and they have their own private dock that we loved lounging on and jumping into the water from! The sand on the beach was raked every morning by Henry, who was great to talk to, and we appreciated the beach being very clean!

Walking right outside of The Beach House on the Main St. side, you will immediately find an array of great shops, restaurants, bars, and more. You don't need any means of transportation when you're here, because so much is right at your fingertips! The food was amazing, don't be afraid to try the street food! We had some of the best baleadas and tacos from street vendors that we're still drooling over!

The Beach House was such a wonderful place for us to stay our first nights in Roatan, and we absolutely fell in love with it and the island. West End proved to be so much more fun and lively than West Bay, and I highly recommend The Beach House to anyone looking to go to Roatan!

Room Tip: Studio Daydream would be good for a family- 3 beds. Also has outdoor shower and very private balcony

We went to Roatan for a girls trip to get some relaxing beach time in. We were worried about choosing between West Bay and West End because we wanted to be slightly off the beaten path, yet not miss out on restauarants and some nightlife. West End was the right choice! The island itself is beautiful, but the Beach House made it feel like a home away from home. The lovely ladies of the Beach house staff are wonderful. Estelle made cocktails that rivaled Manhattan mixologists back home. And the ceviche. Mmmmmmm the ceviche. Fannie, Shirley and Johanna made our rooms so comfortable, yet gave us plenty of space if we wanted it, and always started the day with a smile. Kelly, the manager, is on top of her game. The entire process from check in to check out was seamless. We were in one of the first floor rooms which made it easy to basically open the door and sit on the beach. The dock, which is for private use by Beach House visitors, was a nice touch for getting some sun out in the water. Opportunities for diving excursions were no more than a 2 minute walk away, and although we didn't take part, it was very convenient. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Our room on the first floor was smaller, but had 2 beds, which was perfect. The rooms on the second...

To be honest I can only comment on the restaurant. Other than to say that the hotel has a great location and what I could see of the rooms was very appealing.
We were at the upper floor restaurant-cocktail lounge most of our three months in Roatan. No place like it for quality/decor/sophisticated cocktails in West End (surely no other place I saw). They also offer very nice (big) sandwiches that vary daily and are always made with the freshest ingredents. Fruit-yogurt-juice drinks are available as well. View from the restarant is ideal. None better, that I experienced. Hostess/chef is very charming and always pleasant to spend time with. Certainly recommend it.
