This is the best dive crew ever! I did my PADI Open Water course with them and can't wait to return. They are professional, attentive and fun. We also went fishing with two of the staff and had the best time. It was absolutely everything a vacation should be. Their boats are immaculate and well-cared for. Tony, Rachel, Ricky, Cleve, Corvan, Marielle and of course, Admiral, are the greatest!

We had some great dives with this team:
Pros:
Excellent dive boat, best we saw in the area!
Friendly crew with Rachel keeping it all in line at the counter, and Ricky recognizes your gear by day two!
Casual diving schedule, no need to commit too far ahead just see if there is room to dive. (See cautions below)
Willing to go where the water is best including the other side of the island when the wind changes at no extra expense to you.
Prices were some of the best quoted.
The gear looked good and well maintained (we had our own) and the gear and compressor rooms well maintained.
You can dive to your air and computer allowances, no need to be in a pack.
Dive master Tony was very knowledgeable of reef and creature and Cleve brought a lot of enthusiasm to every dive!

Recommendations:
This was busy season and they accommodated up to 10 people with one dive master, which was ok if you are experienced and have your own dive partner, but should be considered if you are less experienced.

Enjoy diving with Seagrape!

These guys are great to dive with and very friendly! They want to make sure that you are perfectly okay under the water and check with you periodically during the dive to see that you have enough air left! Cleve was great at pointing out various creatures and ensuring that you saw the creatures and fish!! He is very enthusiastic about diving and helping other enjoy their diving experiences. My buddy and I are very low air consumers so we could stay down most dives for over an hour. Lots of boats we have been on have a 45-50 minutes time limit. But we were allowed to stay down inspecting the area right under the boat until our air was at 750. Cleve would be on top of the water looking down after he ditched his gear on the boat to see that were still okay. Tony gave us a dive briefing for each dive but there was no hurry get off the boat, we have to get you in the wter and no hurry get back in the boat we have to get back. This gave us more control of what we saw and the dive was much more enjoyable.
Ricky is also very good at driving the boat and getting back to you at the end of the drift dives.

Oh, and the BOAT!!! Great boat...nice canopy so you don't have to sit in the burning sun while you are on deck. Boat has a really nice ladder to get back in with. The boat is also tied up to a pier so that you don't have to wade out in the water as is the rule in many of the dive shops. They also provide you with towels after the dives and there is fresh water to rinse off with back at the pier. They take all the tanks to the boat and back. They take you bc's and rinse them and the next day they put them back on the boat on a tank!!! There is storage area that is locked at night so you can rinse the gear in the rinse tank and hang it to dry! No schleping the wet stuff back to your room.
Made for a great trip!!!

We did our Open water PADI in this diveshop and liked it a lot! This is kind of hidden secret of Roatan, not so crowded than the other diveshops. It is in 5 minutes walk from the center of West End. Our instructor Tony has a lot of experience and we felt safe when diving with him. Diving was so much fun here and I can recommend this place to anybody! The reef in Roatan is excellent and amazingly beautiful! We are hoping to go to Roatan again later and definitely going to dive with this dive shop.

Did my PADI Rescue Diver certification and some fun dives over the course of about a week. Course instruction was professional but fun. The dive groups were small -- sometimes just me and a divemaster/instructor -- but never more than four people. The schedule, which consists of one-tank dives at 8:30 am, 10:30 am, and 2:30 pm, was different than I'm used to but turned out to be really nice. The diving itself was the best I've ever experienced. The dive sites are close, the reef is pretty, there's plenty of wildlife, and there's all kinds of variety in the types of dives available.
