“Only wreck dive to do!!”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

This was a wonderful dive experience and at 110 feet, it has great visibility and is filled with giant Grouper, "Waldo," the very large and playful Green Moray, plenty of sea turtles, Spotted Eagle Rays, and the wall is filled with great and very much alive hard and soft corals. I liked it so much, I dove it twice and would have gone a 3rd time if I had more time!

And while it is not critical that you dive the interior of the wreck, as there is not much growth there yet, this is a "must dive" for the marine life encounters alone, let alone the shear size and dynamic of the wreck itself!! Don't miss the conning tower!

“Very cool...”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

Super visibility, large grouper and one of the highlights - watching massive hog fish eat little eels in the sand - they were digging them up and then munching away.

Was a great dive.

“interesting dive, neat photo op”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We had enough time down there to investigate in and around. Will say that you should try to be in front when penetrating, else you get lots of kicked up debris deleting your vision

“Amazing scuba site!”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

This Wreck is awesome! There is tons of sea life around the Aquila! Sitting down at about 100', the Aquila has some of the largest Groupers that follow you around!! They will literally come up and let you pet them like a cat! And... don't forget to check out the Large Moray Eel hanging out at the front of the wreck!! :) Awesome!
