Description: This is one of the best restaurants on Roatan! They do the best Prime Rib every Friday night. It's a rare thing to find a place with GOOD meats on Roatan

If I wanted to eat grilled cheese sandwiches and chicken tenders, I could have stayed in Texas. The prices were high, and the menu was limited to ordinary American food. Boo!!!!

We had a great meal at Hungry Kiwi, the best we've enjoyed in a week on Roatan. We both had the catch of the day - sea bass, with mashed potatoes (my husband), rice (me), and veggies. The meal was exquisite, very fresh and light and just a little tangy. Also enjoyed a lovely salad (included with meal) with the home made tangy Italian dressing. Adrian the owner was very very nice. We each had a glass of Chilean Chardonnay and my husband had the great coconut creme pie. Meal was wonderful and relaxing.

We have traveled to Roatan now 6 times and not only find Lawson Rock the most amazing and comfortable place to stay but know that the KIWI will have for us an outstanding meal and relaxed atmosphere. Don't miss the turn coming around the corner and you will be rewarded. Even our children loved the food. Thanks

Want to eat at an air-conditioned restaurant on this island that makes dining a pleasure? The Hungry Kiwi at the Lawson Rock condos presents diners with an island elegance in the evening. Red tablecloths and placesettings grace the tables with napkins folded into varying shapes each night.

As they are only open on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights, plan to visit them on one of these evenings from 5:30 to closing which ends up around 9:30 to 10:00, later if your party is still having fun. The wines are delicious, the Thursday special roast lamb is delicious and Friday's popular Prime Rib is served just like you like it cooked.

The background music completes the scene to an excellent meal and an evening of casual with a touch-of-elegance dining. Your host Adriaan may talk you into his very yummy South African dessert. Do try it, it is the best.

We tremendously enjoy the food at the restaurant. It is delicious. You have a choice in the evening of either ordering of the breakfast, lunch, or dinner menu. The food is fresh and service is excellent. We will be back. A very nice plus is the air conditioning on hot nights. You can seat outside if you desire.
