Tried the restaurant once again. The easterly breeze could not keep the flies off the food. Service is just okay. Food is nothing special. We had fish sandwiches that have a lot of bread, Arches Iguana Farm is worth the trip but we'll skip Frenchy's and go on to Cal's Catina next time.
We came to Roatan Island first about 15 years ago. For the past 8 years Little French Key and Frenchy´s 44 has been our family home and since about 2 years ago our family is permanently living on Little French Key. We were encouraged by our spiritual teachers to open our home and share its beauty with our guests whom visit us daily and we welcome with an open heart.
We are trying to protect our home, our life long savings, the trees that are being uprooted, the land animals and our little piece of heaven from the surging seas and increased water flow that have created a very serious emergency for the Little French Key and threatens our home, our safety
and what we love.
We are very Eco friendly...we get most of our electricity from a wind turbine with zero carbon footprint....we collect all the rainwater from the roofs for daily usage and irrigation....our sewage system is a Pirhana, bio-digested closed loop system with Zero discharge to the sea or the Island....and we recycle to the fullest extend possible...to keep the balance of the Eco system around us, our Island is only a day activity resort with a very small footprint since no sewage system, desalination system and or large generators are required.
I am a certified diver since my teenage days and a mechanical engineer. I fell in love with this place and its surrounding reef and that's why I invested my life long savings and and children's future here on this little slice of heaven. WE WOULD NEVER CAUSE ANY DAMAGE TO WHAT WE LOVE, CHERISH AND VALUE, OUR HOME ISLAND AND IT'S SURROUNDING REEF.
All the people that work here are locals and Honduran, some of whom have been with us for many years and since the beginning. We are creating jobs and economic growth for all involved with us. Some times lack of work ethics and employee theft has forced us to let go of a few in the past in our beginning phases of our operations.
At times perceived jealousy and small mindedness of part of a few gets in the way of accomplishing this task, but we are working on it to perfect it the best we can.
Recently we have been targeted for some negative publicity by this very few who seem not to have their best wishes for us in their heart and mind. WE HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE, WE ARE OPEN EVERYDAY EXCEPT MONDAYS AND INVITE EVERYONE TO COME AND JOIN US AT OUR HOME FOR A GREAT AND RELAXING TIME AND EXPERIENCE SO YOU CAN SEE AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT AND THE LOVE WE HAVE FOR THIS PLACE.

Amazing views of the island. Food is a little expensive, but good. Would definitely recommend if you have the time.
It was a great place to end the day after our tour and relax. Wait staff was very pleasant, awesome atmosphere and Happy Hour we met some wonderful people.
We had lunch here after going to arches iguana farm. What a beautiful place! The food was presented like I've never had before. My husband and I had the grilled and fried conch. It had large portions of each. I ate every bit on my plate! We met the owner and his wife, both very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place!
The restaurant very good, but you should go all the way to French Key. It´s a very short $20 ride to a private key. This place is the most beautiful spot in Roatan, and is also managed by the Frenchy´s 44 people.
