We were picked up by a local "guide" when we decided to walk around town from the cruise ship. I say "guide" because he (William) was a local looking to show anyone around. We were planning on going to Yabba Ding Ding for some local crafts which he walked us to. After we finished he showed us to Nardo's which was almost adjacent to YDD heading towards the water. The place isn't much.....canopy, bar, kitchen, and a view of the water...then again, that's plenty for me. :-) We were recommended the house special..which was a garlic-cream shrimp plate with a small salad and fried plantains. It was very good. However, the stand out dish for us was the seafood soup. (see picture). Chock full of seafood and incredible broth. It may be a little spicy for some, but I found it excellent.
Nardo's was an excellent find and we will definitely go back again on our next trip.
