The rooms are really beautiful and comfortable. The ocean view was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen and the ace was so relaxing that it was difficult not to have fun with my friends. The service was the best I've experience yet and the food was something I always looked forward to. The view from the room is very relaxing and the pool was very clean and lovely. A beautiful place to relax with friends and family.

The rooms were really good, the food was good, the customer service was on point! Customers are given all the neceasary attention and hotel's facilities are well-kept. It is definitely a place to bring the family or simply chill out with friends.

We spent a nice long weekend with the whole family at Elmina bay. It is the perfect retreat spot for families with the ' townhouse style of the rooms that feels like a suite when you get adjacent rooms. The pool is large, clean and very central of the facility. rooms are large with balconies all facing the sea. restaurant has excellent service: waiters were very friendly and cheerful as were the other workers at the hotel. while the erosion along the shoreline cause you to have to calculate the tide before going for a walk along the beach, it was a very pleasant place to stay...even in the rain!

Room Tip: All of the rooms have views and balconies overlooking the pool and sea

We booked two nights in this resort to get away from the noise and constant stream of people approaching us at other beaches we'd been to. And we were not disappointed! The resort is located in a peaceful area away from Elima town, right at a beautiful stretch of beach. No hawkers there, just the sound of the waives and palm trees in the wind. The resort itself was very well maintained and all things advertised such as aircon, shower, etc. actually worked (which was the only time during our 3 weeks in Ghana!). The pool was of a decent size and regularly cleaned. The staff was very welcoming and service-orientated. For example, when I sat down in the garden, the waiter came to ask if I needed a cushion, drink, or wanted to have the umbrela put up. The best service we got during our travels. A lovely place, which I would very much recommend to those looking for some rest and relaxation!

Room Tip: All rooms have a sea view but from some rooms the view is partially obstructed by the restaurant bui...

The hotel has a splendid setting right on the shore: palm trees, crashing Atlantic breakers, great beach to walk along, lovely pool, large rooms with huge picture windows. We found the staff were very friendly and charming, this can be hard to find in Ghana so this was a big plus. The restaurant was delightful, we enjoyed the food. Just great to have no mosquitoes while sitting out at night - too close to the sea for the mozzies. This hotel is not for those who want a social scene, it's a quiet place to unwind, and this was just what we need after 2 weeks of hectic travel. A taxi will be needed to visit Elmina or Cape Coast, but this can be arranged by the owners, and they will help you pay the correct price.

Stayed here in March 2013, out of the 4 hotels we stayed at, this was the best. If you want some r&r then it is a great place to stay, pool was excellent and rooms were very comfy, clean and lots of space, plus free wifi too. For breakfast you choose off a menu, it was good and quite sufficient. The restaurant was really good for dinner too, we normally leave the resort and try out other places, but we thought the food was excellent and good value, so we ended up eating there every night, jollof rice was v.tasty! ... Coconut Grove is short walk along the beach but didnt look very inviting. Recommend the tour around Elmina Castle, hotel can arrange a taxi. Also hotel is at the end of a long dusty bumpy road, a few minutes up from cocunut grove entrance. Once tourism catches on in ghana, this place will be fully booked!

Room Tip: 1st floor rooms are good

If you come to Elmina Bay you will find that you are pretty isolated and far from anything in town. Only come here if you want to swim in the ocean or the pool as there isn't much else to do there. The place is clean and the rooms are large though utterly lacking in decor or charm. The restaurant is ok for breakfast.
