I Stayed here for one night. The couple that is partly owner, immediately makes you feel at home. You can just grab your own drinks from the refrigerator. The food is (as I have tasted so far) great. The room is not to special, but the price is low and is very close to the beach. For everyone who likes food and want to relax for a fair price, I would definitely recommend this place. The Price/Quality is great.

Good value for money, as this resort is cheap and has simple facilities to match. A lovely beach location with bungalows in nice gardens, but would have been nice to have some deck chairs or hammocks to profit from the view and the calm as well as the few chairs available in the lounge. Need to bring your own towel and/or mat for the beach. A small area was swimmable but still rough while we were there. Food very good and quite reasonable prices though for the longer stay I would have preferred more variety in the dessert possibilities. It's a short walk along the beach to the village where you can get a shared taxi to the main road (GHc 1.25 or GHc5 for hire) then trotros to Cape Coast, or they'll call a taxi for you for trips and excursions. Not too many hawkers, but you may need to be insistent for the few souvenir sellers and boys selling coconuts if you want to be left in peace. Laundry cheap at 50 pesewas (US$0.25) an item. We stayed in both the simple rooms (space very limited, shared toilets and showers in a nearby hut) and one with ensuite bathroom (more space, wardrobe, bath towel provided, and small clothes drying rack).

We stayed in a block of three rooms with en suite bathroom. Everything worked but all was a bit faded and the mattress quite worn.
The food was acceptable and reasonably priced. Service was prompt, courteous and friendly.
There was nothing to do except read and walk on the beach. There were no loungers so a comfortable spot watching the waves was not possible.
We stayed here for one night on the way further west so it suited our purpose. For a longer stay there are better places..

We stayed two nights in KO-SA Beach resort. It looks very nice with the painted bungalows and all the decoration. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food excellent. The beach is very nice.
However, the rooms could need a bit of renovation, the mattresses were completely worn and sagged in the middle, the shower curtain had seen better times, and there were no sunbeds available, as they were all broken.

My experience at Ko Sa beach resort was very good. From Cape last it takes about a half hour in a taxi and a taxi costs 25 cedes. Thetaxi to elmina costs 20 cedes. We had a room with private bathroom which was very clean. They forbids eating and drinking in the room so you don't have to worry about ants. The bathroom was a bit stinky however, I assume due to bad drainage. There are numerous places to hang wet clothes which was very handy. The room is nice by backpacker standards. We were able to wash our clothes which was helpful. There is no wifi. The beach is beautiful to walk but there is only a small area to swim. We did have two meals there which were good, which great vegetarian options. Would go back to relax, but as a base the taxi rides add up because it is far from the main road.

I worked in nearby Elmina for a month and often spent a weekend day at Ko-Sa, which always provided the respite needed. A very international clientele, good food, onsite artisans (beads, clothes, crafts), a unique beach, and the book-swap, all added up to become my favorite spot within 30 miles. I did treat myself to a night in one of the colorful, mosquito-netted bungalows, which suited me just fine. Don't expect a 4-star resort (those are up the road, and were much too Western for me), but do expect a friendly, memorable stay.

After completing 3 months volunteering in North Ghana on our way back to the UK five of us decided to have a night at the coast. We had a wonderful time at KO-SA, the food was incredible both at lunch and in the evening and reasonably priced. We went on a stunning walk along the beach and even went for a swim in the sea. This is the closest to paradise I have come. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We arranged with the resort to get picked up from the airport which was prompt and again comfortable. The only thing I would say is it is not in Cape Coast so transport was needed to go and explore Cape Coast itself. I wish we could have stayed longer.
