Welcome to Egypt ;) Mosquitoes are the problem in most of the African countries. Very few places use pesticides to control their population so Mosquito Repellents are the only working solution for now. you can find a natural remedies on our facebook page ;) https://www.facebook.com/GreatEscapeHolidays?ref=hl

We lucked upon Nour El Waha strolling around Siwa. Very glad we did. Margaret, the owner, chatted with us for some time and made us feel so at home. The garden setting is perfect, the service attentive but the food! Oh wow, one of the best meals we had in the whole of Egypt. The tagine-cooked pomegranate Rommanya was one of the most amazing things I have ever tasted. Next time we come to Siwa, for there will be a next time, we will stay here too. Great value and a delightful place.

We had dinner in our first night in Siwa in this picturesque restaurant. The moment you step in, you forget about all your problems or worries. The garden is fabulous. I enjoyed the fresh and tasty food, the silence and the hookah by the fire. I would absolutely recommend the rommanya dish and the milk with dates. Margaret, the owner, was very nice and welcoming. Good money value!

This is by far the top choice of restaurants in Siwa. We were so happy with the service, the food and not least the atmosphere that we ate there no less than three times during our trip. The menu does not offer to many choices at first sight, but the food is really fresh and tasty. A must try is the date juice with milk and all of the chicken dishes were really nice. The prize is another reason for trying this beduine restaurant in the middle of the town, but away from the noice - We considered the food and place well worth paying between 25 and 45 EGP for the quality and taste. Choose between being seated beduine style with low tables or real tables with normal chairs.

We spent three days in Siwa and we have to say it's one of the nicest and most peaceful places in Egypt. And Nour El Waha is the best restaurant in Siwa. food is always fresh and delicious. we can recommend especially shish kebab, tagin and excellent siwan dish - rommamya (lentil with eggplant in pomegranate syrup). if you have special request about food you can ask Margaret - she is the owner of this place. she is very nice and really helpful.
After diner it was nice to sit in palm trees garden, drank tea and smoked shisha.
If you visit Siwa, don't miss this place.
