From the moment we arrived at the Hotel (about midnight) they looked after us very well and with a smile!

We were late because our plane had been divereted but there was food waiting for us and a nice man to carry our bags to our lovely rooms.

The hotel complex is wonderful and we had a room over-looking the main square which was very pretty. The staff always helped with a smile and the food was amazing. Tremendous value for money. The bread which they bake was just lovely and the freshley prepared pizzas and barbeques were marvelous. If you want a great place to stay in Sham then you could not do better than this place save for paying a lot more across the road at the Radisson.
The Park Inn has a bar on the beach at the Radisson which was great for snorkelling and the sea was warmer than the pools.

Had a 2 week holiday in parkinn from 27th nov-12thdec 2008. The hotel reception was clean & tidy. we was taken to our room and our suitcases was carried to. the room was a family style.it was clean & tidy on arrival, the beds which was brought to our room was on the old side ,but was clean. our roomwas over looking the pool & pool bar. room 3754. there was building work going on behind our room & some nights it carried on till the next day. (there is work goin on all over i sharm-not just by this hotel). The swimming pools are lovely and was never full.the water park was brilliant, but the pools was cold all the time. the wave pool was really good.& also the slides for my son's aged 7&2 was good. the kids also went to kids club.which they enjoyd.Mahay who runs kid club is lovely,my children loved her, The food was fine some day's better then others.but we manged to get some thing every day.we didnt have snacks.& the kids only had ice-cream twice you need to go down to the beach to get them. the beach is lovely & you'll see lots of coloured fish. the water of the jetty is really deep so be carefull.. you'll see plenty of fish just be looking of thr jetty. We found that 2weeks was two long because there is not much to do apart from going in the pool and down to the beach.there is a few shopes right by the hoterl but you will get hasseld alot. We also went to Namma Bay one night that was nice but not something you could do every night. We went on the glass bottom boat.i would not recomed this trip, every one was sick and had lots of complaints. I also had a few items taken from our room!! my son's new jacket 2 t-shirts.& some aftersun. ,the clothes was not on show so the cleaner must go throu yous suitcases. also the family we made friends with had there mobile phone taken from there room. & we hear'd other stories two. I dont think we will go back in a hurry.but we did enjoy our selfs the weather was really hot. the only down side is all the FLY'S around the pools, down at the beach & in the resturants. I'm sure you'll have a good time we did just take plenty of sun care & lots of mosiey killer for your rooms.

I have just returned from the Park Inn and had no real major issues with the hotel itself. The hotel is kept clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly but you need to tip them early to get a better service! The rooms are spacious but basic. The food was good and had a selection but it could of been a better selection. I can see how it can get repetitive bit if you use your common sense and alternate what you eat then you won't get bored! We never suffered from any sort of upset stomachs whilst we was eating at the Park Inn. The only downside was the entertainment at night was poor to watch we watched an oriental themed night and ended up walking out 1/4 of the way through.. it was badly disorganised and unprofessional. I was surprised by the amount of decorations and up and coming events that the hotel had for Christmas it was very impressive! We used the hotel limo service to go to Naama Bay on a few occassions and this cost £7 each way and the driver was always ontime and effecient. All in all we had a good relaxing holiday.

We have been to Egypt lots of times staying in 3 to 5 star hotels. This hotel is now one of our favourites and may even return!!! We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families with children of all ages. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The animation team Anna, Heide, Victor, Pika and not forgetting our Damos deserve a special mention as we now consider them all to be our friends.
The food was as good as any other all inclusive hotel that we have been to. The Aqua park was brilliant but the water could have been warmer!!!!!!!!! We used the heated pool where all the poolside entertainment was. We were very pleased with the family room which was clean and spacious, we also had anice view of the aqua park from the balcony. The beach was easy accessible via the courtesy coach which ran non stop from the sister hotel acros the road. The snorkelling was amazing from the jetty but the sea can be quite choppy.Don't expect soft golden sand as it is quite gritty in parts, would recommend sand shoes. The seating area around the beach bar was nice as the had nice views in the upper section.
Nabq Bay is a quieter area of sharm but there are enough shops but little entertainment, but it is still being developed. We would reccommend the food at the British pub though. If your looking for night life head for Namma Bay which is easily reached by Hotel bus or taxi for a few pounds. Overall we had a nice holiday.

I have just returned from The Park Inn.
We stayed there 27th Nov-11th Dec
Travelled with my daughter, her partner and my grandaughter,
Our ages 4, 20+, 30+ and 50.

We booked this hotel as it said it had a kiddies club and entertainment during the day and the evening. Plus the smashing looking aqua park.

I had read lots of reviews about this place on this site and others, and I thought what a load of load moaners. Some people are never happy. What I didn't realise was that I was going to end up being one of the unhappy ones too.

My daughter discovered the kiddies club which open between 10am and 3pm. Her 4 year old daughter loved it in there. They either played games, did colouring or watched a cartoon film.
Maha was a lovely lady she was always smiling.

SWIMMING POOLS---THEY BOTH LOOK LOVELY....
Except the very big one is too cold to swim in. I think during our 2 weeks there we only saw a handful of people brave enough to risk it. Yes I DID risk it , but found breathing in it very hard as it was FREEEEEZING!!!!

The pool with the swim up bar was much better, everyone seemed to be using it. My only gripe here was that the swim up bar seats were almost always in the shade therefore it could be a bit chilly. The barman wasn't always very pleasent abd quite often he ran out og glasses and cups. OH and always smell the milk before pouring it into your tea or coffee as it is not always kept in a fridge. I had lumpy sour milk more than once....Not nice at all! The flies around the pool were a real pain, but at least they didn't bite you unlike the MOZIS!

TAKE MOZI REPELLANT AND BITE CREAM WITH YOU.

IF YOU HAVE THEM IN YOUR ROOM PHONE RECEPTION AND THEY WILL COME AND SPRAY YOUR ROOM FOR YOU.

The aqua park is great, but once again the water is freezing. My grandaughter didn't last very long in it and didn't even ask to go back to it another day as she said "the water is too cold Grandma"

ENERTAINMENT
The first 2 evenings we went into the Bedouin tent. Was not very good at all. Kids ran around tripping over the rugs that were strawn all over the floor. Dangerous for little ones.
We stopped going in there for 2 reasons,
1) It was in our opinion not up to much at all.
2) I GOT 20 FLEA BITES ON EACH ANKLE AND10 ON MY HANDS!!!!!!

So most days we ended up going back to our rooms about 4.30
as the sun had set having a bath or shower (the bathroom was big and spacious) then chilling until around 7 when it was time to face the noisey and rather hectic dining room once again.

FOOD
I couldn't believe it when I read about people moaning about the food. It looked and tasted great. There was something for everyone. OR SO I THOUGHT....I must admit my opinion slowly changed as we approached the end of our 1st week.
If for example there had been BBQ'd steaks the night before you could guarantee they would be revamped in some way for lunch or dinner the next day. They seem very clever at revamping food and giving it a new name.
I had chicken a couple of times and it was not cooked all the way through as there was still blood around the bone.
The beef stew and beef curry were scrumptious though they tasted the same.
The best meal of the day for me was BREAKFAST. I tended to have toast, grilled tomatoes and an omelette.
Lunches were ok.
In the afternoon there were snacks served at the pool bar. It usually consisted of salad, rolls, cold meat and chips, oh and cakes. But you had to be quick, as it didn't take long for the local birds to home in on it all. They often landed on the food and the chef had to shoo them away.

I took the shuttle bus to the beach once. It was ok but very crowded. I walked to the end of the jetty to do some snorkeling. The fish were great, but the sea quite rough. Thought i'd have an ice cream from the Coral bar....no such luck they didn't have any!

If you go outside the hotel to the shops be prepared for MEGA hassle. If you ingore them they say you English are not friendly. If you say no thank you they still don't leave you alone.

IF YOU HAVE BOOKED TO GO TO THIS HOTEL PLEASE DON'T WORRY AS THESE ARE ONLY MY OPINIONS. ONE FAMILY WHO WE MADE FRIENDS WITH HAVE RE BOOKED TO RETURN NEXT APRIL SO IT COULDN'T OF BEEN THAT BAD.
.

WOULD I GO BACK---EGYPT---- YES
PARK INN--- NO

this hotel is one of the best i have stayed in, i have been to egypt 5 times now, it just gets better every time. there is so much to do in this hotel, there are 4 + pools wave pool lazy riiver flumes, they have a lovely heated pool for the winter where they have an animation team, that kept everyone entertained. from water polo, to yoga, aqua pool etc etc then in the evening there was entertainment in the bedwin tent, which changed every night.

i found that there was more british in this hotel which was great a few russians and alot of egyptians, which goes to show you it must be a good hotel if the locals go there. we met so many new friends here as the animation team got you participating alot which got you talking to other guests.

i would definitly recommend this to my friends and family and will eb returning next year. after speaking to other guests that have already been to the same hotel for there 3 rd time.

Previously never really bothered to read reviews but how wrong not to believe previous travelers.
The hotel is outdated run down and no more then a guest status in the uk.
Front reception is a joke you give in passports as normal when i tried to get mine back for Cairo, i was given someone elses 4hours later got mine back.
The food the last few reviews must of stayed somewhere else, Bland Boring and Dried Up get there early otherwise god only knows what gets served up.
The rooms are in need of refurbishment and a lick of paint, air con didnt work and tiles grubby and dirty in bathroom.
The beach is via a bus service across the road to a rocky Not sandy beach , safe for children you have to walk out about 1/4 mile to get up to your knees and coral is like razor blades.
Do not drink the water from dispensers we saw staff filling these up. Do not go Pharmacy they will rip you off, Do not trust your Rep it seems they only want to make a quick Buck out of You Quicker then the Egyptians.
Our family couldnt wait to go to Egypt but couldnt wait to get home.
The only escape we had was when we went on trips which were Fab not sure if you can say where we booked it but Not through the Rep We went on Sand Dune Buggies 4hours 25pounds, Full Cairo tour to see Prymids, Museums, Cruise on Nile Dinner & The Monuments 70.00pounds, along with a full day red sea cruise lunch & drinks included 25pounds, Well organised english guides and great value for money compared to overcharged prices via Hotel, We used local English Guy Pete at St Georges Bar Jasmine Center.
Overall hotel below standard and as a family very disapointed
